I'm very pleased - the staff are top-of-the-line, providing excellent medical care and physical therapy, engaging activities, and attentive housekeeping/maintenance while administration is responsive. CNAs, CMAs and nurses form genuine, lasting bonds and treat residents with dignity and family-like warmth, which has truly improved my loved one's quality of life and comforted our family.

    Summary of reviews

Reviews for this facility present a mixed picture: a number of families describe warm, person-centered long-term care and strong clinical services, while others raise operational and administrative concerns that they say affected resident well-being. Strengths cited include caregivers who form durable relationships with residents, robust physical therapy and nursing input, engaging activities, and attentive maintenance and housekeeping that contribute to a comfortable environment.

Care and staffing present contrasting themes. Positive accounts emphasize compassionate CNAs, CMAs and nurses who prioritize dignity and form lasting bonds with residents. Conversely, reviewers also describe staffing instability and frequent use of agency or temporary personnel who are unfamiliar with residents’ routines and needs. These staffing variations are linked to inconsistent day-to-day care, gaps in care continuity (including missed or not-provided transportation to offsite medical appointments), and specific incontinence-care concerns that prompted family intervention in some cases.

Dining, activities, and facilities are also described unevenly. Many families praised the activity programming and rehabilitative services, noting that social engagement and therapy improved residents’ quality of life. Housekeeping and building maintenance receive favorable comments for responsiveness. At the same time, there are complaints about inconsistent meal timing and variable food quality, including late evening service on occasion, and isolated sanitation concerns that prospective families should verify during a visit.

Management and communication are recurring areas of concern. Several reviewers reported poor communication and documentation practices with families and external parties, including problems handling sensitive end-of-life coordination. More serious allegations include administrative decision-making problems such as questionable financial practices and abrupt discharge or eviction processes; a number of reviewers also described a culture that discouraged regulatory reporting. These are significant issues that warrant direct inquiry with administration and review of inspection and compliance records.

For prospective residents and families: weigh the facility’s clearly stated strengths in relationship-focused caregiving, therapy, and community life against the reported operational weaknesses in staffing consistency, communication, dining reliability, and certain administrative practices. When evaluating this facility in person, request current staffing ratios, agency-staff usage, sample care plans, incident-reporting policies, transportation procedures for medical appointments, and recent state inspection or complaint summaries; speak with current families about their experiences to clarify which patterns are persistent and which may have been addressed.
