    Compassionate care, clean facility, peaceful

I'm very happy with the care my mom receives - the staff (Tara included) are compassionate, responsive, and consistently go above and beyond, creating a warm, family-like community. Clean, well-managed facility with engaging activities, a dedicated Alzheimer's wing, peaceful pond/gazebo views, and excellent communication that gave us real peace of mind.

About Fountain View Assisted Living of Coopersville

Fountain View Assisted Living of Coopersville sits near I-96 on W. Randall Street, right across from ChoiceOne Bank, so you'll see it's pretty close to nearby doctors, a pharmacy, and all the basics someone might need. This place gives seniors a choice of living options, from independent apartments and senior condos to assisted living and secured memory care for those with dementia or Alzheimer's, and they'll even offer short-term respite stays if someone needs a spot for a little while. Folks who move in get rooms that can be private or shared, and a lot of them have their own bathrooms, kitchenettes, and even cable TV-some look right out over a pond with a fountain, and there's a big grassy yard out back with a gazebo and a fishing dock, which is nice if you want some fresh air or a quiet view of wildlife.

The focus here is on meeting daily needs and helping people feel comfortable, whether someone needs help with things like bathing, dressing, taking medicines, or getting around with a wheelchair or walker. There's staff around all day and night, and they're trained to help with tricky health needs, especially for people with diabetes or memory trouble-plus, they've got physical and speech therapists who come by, and a nurse can handle insulin and special care when needed. Families can feel at ease knowing the memory care section is fully secured to help keep folks safe and stop wandering, which is big for people with Alzheimer's or other cognitive changes.

Residents get meals made by a professional chef, and the kitchen makes sure the food is healthy, especially for those on special diets, like people who need diabetes-friendly or allergy-sensitive meals. People can join social activities throughout the day, so whether it's bingo in the dining room, arts and crafts, movie nights, or devotional services, there's something to help keep the mind and body busy. There's outdoor walking paths, gardens, and a covered patio if you'd like to be outside, and a movie theater, arts room, and even a spot for music and worship inside.

This faith-based, nonprofit community, part of Baruch Senior Ministries, takes pride in making seniors feel at home with a kind and patient staff who pay attention to each person's habits and health needs, and they involve families with updates and support. They handle the little stuff too, such as keeping the rooms clean, laundry done, and helping new folks settle in with their move-in process. There's also transportation for doctor visits or outings and a place to park for families stopping by. Some folks might notice the building looks well-kept and the atmosphere is calm and friendly, with folks smiling or staff ready to help out.

You won't find published prices for every room, but there's mention of assisted living starting at $3,500 per month and memory care private rooms around $5,000 per month all-inclusive. This place aims to support seniors in Coopersville with safety, good food, activities, and medical care, creating a steady home where anyone can sit by the window, watch the pond, and get the help they need through every part of daily life.
