Havenwood Care Center is a long-standing care facility in Bemidji, Minnesota, dedicated to serving elderly residents with compassion and respect. With a history dating back to 1917, the origins of the center can be traced to the Lake Julia farm, which was one of the few facilities in the region at the time focused on providing long-term care for the ill and aged. In 1968, the facility relocated to its current home, inaugurating a modern 85-bed building that marked a new era of enhanced care and comfort. Just a few years later, in 1974, a 48-bed addition expanded capacity, reflecting a growing commitment to meeting the needs of area seniors. Today, Havenwood Care Center utilizes 90 beds, allowing residents to enjoy a more intimate and attentive environment.
