    Friendly active community, minor issues

I moved into The Waterford and I'm very happy - the staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful, residents are welcoming, the building is bright, clean and well-maintained, meals are generally excellent, and there are tons of activities, outings and on-site rehab/transportation. Apartments range from cozy studios to spacious two-beds; it's safe and community-focused. It is on the pricier side and I've noticed occasional food, staffing or management hiccups, but overall it's a caring, active place I'd recommend.

There's also hospice waiver care, on-site skilled nursing, and even home care for seniors who only need companionship and basic help at home. The Waterford on Highland Colony keeps a focus on making life comfortable and supportive for seniors, with different levels of help all under one roof, so people can move between care types if their needs change, and the whole place is meant to be a community where older adults can stay active, safe, and cared for.
