    Kind caring staff, excellent rehab

I'm very pleased with my loved one's stay - the staff were kind, caring and responsive, nursing and rehab were strong, the facility was spotless and comfortable, dining/dietary was helpful, and social services/admissions made the process easy; I would recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

Overall, the reviews describe a facility with clear strengths in nursing care and rehabilitation services. Many families and patients highlight compassionate, attentive nurses and a rehabilitation team (PT/OT/speech) that produces measurable functional improvements—patients moving from bedbound to walking outdoors is a recurring theme. Social work and case-management staff are frequently singled out as helpful, and admissions/front-desk staff are often described as welcoming and informative. The activities program and event offerings are noted as engaging and personalized, contributing to patient morale and participation.

Staff behavior and team performance are commonly praised for professionalism, teamwork, and going above and beyond; administrators and clinical leaders are also described as involved and proactive in many cases. The facility’s public areas, décor, and much of the housekeeping are described as clean and well maintained, supporting a homelike atmosphere for rehabilitation stays. Dietary services receive high marks in a number of accounts—special-event meals, attentive kitchen staff, and menu accommodations are among the positives noted.

At the same time, there is meaningful variability in day-to-day operations. Dining quality and portion sizes are inconsistent across accounts: while some families praise high-quality meals, others describe limited portions, menu restrictions, or failures to honor diet instructions and religious dietary needs. Staffing continuity is a recurring operational concern—reviewers report reliance on temporary or per-diem staff, reduced staffing during holidays or weekends, and uneven responsiveness at times. Housekeeping and in-room sanitation appear excellent in many areas but have been described as inconsistent in others, leading to sanitation concerns in specific units or rooms.

Clinical and safety processes show a generally positive pattern but with notable lapses reported. Reviewers describe delays in incident response and family notification in some cases, concerns about equipment maintenance (for example, therapy equipment or devices), medication- and supplies-handling issues, and occasional privacy/HIPAA process problems when staff discuss patients aloud. Personal-property handling (lost clothing or items) and transportation scheduling/communication (including cost transparency) are additional operational areas that families flagged for improvement. There are also a small number of serious, isolated allegations—including financial concerns and adverse outcomes following clinical events—which reviewers framed as requiring further inquiry; those items should be considered individually and, if important to a decision, followed up with facility management or regulatory records.

For prospective residents and families: the facility demonstrates strong rehabilitation capability, engaged therapy teams, and many examples of attentive, compassionate nursing and social-work support. Visitors should plan an on-site tour that includes inspection of specific rooms, questions about staffing ratios and weekend/holiday coverage, a review of diet and religious-meal accommodations, inquiry into incident-notification and equipment-maintenance protocols, and clarification of laundry/personal-belongings policies. These checks will help confirm the consistency of the positive experiences many families report and identify whether the operational concerns described in other reviews have been addressed.
