    Wonderful care; elevator restricts wheelchairs

I'm very pleased with how they cared for my family member - they did a wonderful job and I have no complaints. Practical notes: the elevator has a weight limit and electric wheelchairs aren't accepted, so I highly recommend residents be able to self-transfer. Overall I would recommend this community.

    Summary of reviews

Overview The reviews for Roseville Manor are mixed, with a clear pattern: several families describe positive, reassuring experiences at admission and successful care for individual residents, while at least one highly negative account raises serious concerns. These accounts point to a facility that may present well on first impression and provide acceptable care for lower-acuity residents, but which has operational limits and uneven performance when residents require more intensive assistance. Care quality Positive comments emphasize individualized attention and satisfactory outcomes for certain residents, indicating that the facility can deliver appropriate day-to-day support in some cases. Conversely, other feedback highlights difficulties caring for medically fragile residents and concerns following an end-of-life situation. Taken together, the pattern suggests that Roseville Manor is better suited to residents with lower clinical and mobility needs and that families should confirm the facility’s clinical capabilities and end-of-life care processes before placement. Staff Reviewer commentary is mixed regarding staff. Some families praise staff interactions and outcomes, while others describe delays in assistance and concerns about responsiveness and communication tone. This indicates variability in staff performance or staffing levels at different times. Prospective families should clarify typical staff-to-resident ratios, response-time expectations, and how the facility communicates with families during clinical changes. Dining and activities The supplied reviews do not provide detailed information about dining quality or activity programming. The absence of commentary on these areas limits conclusions; prospective families interested in social programming or specific dietary needs should request current menus, activity schedules, and related participation data during a visit. Facilities and accessibility Several operational constraints are called out in the feedback: the building has elevator weight limits, the facility does not accept some larger electric wheelchairs, and there is an expectation that residents be able to self-transfer. These are concrete infrastructure and policy limitations that affect who the facility can safely serve. On the positive side, initial impressions of the physical environment are described favorably by some families, suggesting that common areas and overall presentation may be acceptable for ambulatory residents. Management and notable patterns A notable pattern is the inconsistency across family experiences: strong endorsements coexist with a very negative report that raised significant concerns about care and pet accommodation at end of life. This divergence points toward uneven operational practices or variable match between resident needs and facility capabilities. Management-related considerations include clear admission criteria, mobility-equipment and elevator policies, staff scheduling, and protocols for palliative or end-of-life situations. Prospective families should seek explicit written policies on equipment acceptance, transfer assistance, end-of-life care, pet visitation or accommodation, and the facility’s complaint-resolution process. Bottom line Roseville Manor appears to provide a welcoming environment and satisfactory care for residents who are relatively mobile and require lower-acuity support. However, there are operational constraints and inconsistent reports regarding staff responsiveness and management of more medically complex or end-of-life situations. Prior to placement, families should verify clinical capacity, mobility-equipment acceptance, transfer-assistance availability, staffing levels, and written policies on palliative care and pet accommodation to ensure the facility is an appropriate match for the prospective resident’s needs.
