    Excellent care in beautiful facility

My mother receives excellent care in this brand-new, hotel-like facility - spotless, beautifully decorated rooms and dining, with a warm, homey atmosphere that gives me real peace of mind. The staff are friendly, professional and compassionate (special thanks to Nurse Nancy), and there are plentiful activities, shopping/doctor transportation, and daily mass. Convenient location and large, comfortable rooms make this a wonderful option I happily recommend.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: The facility is consistently described as a clean, modern, and comfortable nursing home with a strong emphasis on resident dignity and person-centered care. Families and residents frequently praise the caregiving team for compassion, responsiveness, and familiarity with residents by name. The building and public spaces are often characterized as hotel- or resort-like, with well-maintained common areas, large rooms, and an on-site chapel and daily mass program that support spiritual needs.

Care and staff: Direct-care staff and nurses receive considerable positive comment for caring interactions, assistance with daily needs, and creating a family-like atmosphere. Several reviews singled out individual staff for exemplary work, and many families reported getting reassurance about their loved one’s personal presentation and day-to-day treatment. At the same time, there are operational concerns affecting clinical reliability: reviewers described gaps in medication administration and oversight, inconsistent communication about schedules and care plans, and instances suggesting supervision and fall-prevention practices could be strengthened. Periodic staffing shortages—particularly during public-health surges—were also noted as impacting continuity of care.

Dining and activities: Meals are regularly described as good and well-prepared, and dining spaces are viewed positively. Activity programming appears robust, with frequent social events, shopping and recreation trips, and organized resident interaction. The facility provides transportation for medical appointments and supports transitions across levels of care, which reviewers found helpful for continuity and convenience.

Facilities and environment: The newer construction, cleanliness, and upkeep are consistent strengths in these accounts. Many families report that the facility feels comfortable, peaceful, and welcoming; aesthetics and maintenance are repeatedly praised. The central location and ease of visiting were also described as advantages.

Management and policies: Management practices draw mixed commentary. Positive notes include smooth transitions between care levels and responsiveness to family involvement. On the other hand, reviewers identified several operational areas for improvement: inflexible visitation and quarantine policies during infection-control periods, uneven scheduling and information flow from staff, a perceived emphasis on occupancy, and high pricing. A few reviews raised concerns about staff hiring and screening practices; prospective families may wish to ask directly about background checks, staffing ratios, and hiring protocols.

Recommendations for prospective families: Ask for specifics about medication-administration policies, staffing ratios and supervision practices, fall-prevention measures, and how the facility handles communication and scheduling with families. Clarify visitation rules during infection-control situations and obtain a clear fee/contract breakdown to understand cost and billing. Verify hiring and background-check processes if safety and screening are priorities. Overall, the facility presents as a well-kept, activity-rich option with strong person-centered strengths, balanced by operational areas that merit direct inquiry before placement.
