Addison of Florence at 1370 Celebration Blvd in Florence, SC gives seniors different living options all in one place, and there's independent living for folks who don't need a lot of help, then assisted living for people who need some help with daily things like bathing, dressing, and taking medicine, and there's also a secure memory care community for people with Alzheimer's or other kinds of dementia, where the building design helps reduce confusion and keeps residents safe from wandering, so everyone gets the kind of support they need as their needs change. Residents can join in on scheduled entertainment like movie nights, games in the game room, and other activities that help people socialize and stay connected, and there are programs just for memory care that keep folks with dementia and cognitive challenges engaged, and a mental wellness program helps residents hold onto their cognitive and emotional health. Moving in goes a bit easier with move-in coordination services, and there's daily help for those who need it, including help with mobility, transfers, dressing, and bathing, plus medication management for safety, and non-ambulatory care for those who can't move around on their own so everyone gets the help they need. Housekeeping and laundry services, including dry cleaning, keep things clean, and meal preparation comes with dining options for special diets like allergies or diabetes, and all meals get served in a furnished dining room or other shared areas. Residents get access to furnished common rooms, a community room, Wi-Fi, pet-friendly spaces, handicap accessibility, and safety features like emergency alert systems throughout the whole place. There's always 24-hour supervision for peace of mind and adult day programs, respite care, and caregiver support give families some relief or a break when needed, and there's a skilled nursing facility on the same campus for higher levels of care, so one doesn't have to move again if more help is needed later on. Addison of Florence stands out because it's been named a top 50 aging services community by Fortune magazine and has been a Great Place to Work for three years, with a staff that's proud of those honors. Daily life is easy to see, with tours for anyone who wants to meet staff and other residents, check dining options, and get a feel for what goes on every day, and folks can check availability and find pricing online so everything's pretty straightforward. All in all, Addison of Florence offers a range of housing and care, whether someone needs independent living, assisted living, memory care, respite, or caregiver support, and the campus is made to adapt to people's changing needs, aiming for comfort, safety, and a place to belong.

Beautiful facility, but management inconsistent
I've been impressed by the beautiful, impeccably clean facility, warm and attentive staff, strong memory-care security, varied activities and mostly helpful, homey atmosphere. That said, I'm concerned about inconsistent administration - rude or unprofessional managers at times, medication errors/slow emergency responses, reports of theft and uneven food quality. Overall I'd consider it for a loved one for the caring staff and environment, but I'd closely vet management and medication safety first.
