    Clean caring staff; excellent food

I'm very pleased with this facility - clean, well-maintained grounds that even smell fresh. The staff and management are caring, hardworking and responsive; they treat residents and families like their own, and my loved one is well taken care of, happy, and engaged in daily activities. The food is great with good menu variety and extras like nail service; not fancy but pleasantly nice - I highly recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

Reviews of Park View present a mixed picture that combines clear strengths in daily life and caregiving with notable operational concerns. Many comments emphasize a warm, welcoming environment: residents are described as happy, staff are characterized as caring and hardworking, and the facility's grounds and common areas are generally well maintained and pleasant. Families and reviewers also praised meal variety and quality, on-site beauty and nail services, and active daily programming that keeps residents engaged.

At the care-delivery level, there is a contrast between reports of attentive, compassionate aides and recurring descriptions of inconsistency among licensed nursing staff. Several reviewers described variability in nurse availability and competence across shifts; this variability is reflected in comments about being short-staffed at times and in lower overall ratings from families who experienced delays in clinical response. A recurring operational theme is delayed responses to call lights and care requests, which reviewers linked to periods when nurses or aides were not readily available.

Dining and activities are frequently identified as strengths. The menu is described as varied and the food favorably received by many residents. Activities staff and programming appear to support resident participation in daily life. Personal services such as nail and beauty appointments are available onsite, which reviewers appreciated, although concerns about the cleanliness of some personal-care areas were raised alongside this convenience.

Facility condition and housekeeping receive generally positive comments about landscaping, cleanliness of shared spaces, and an overall pleasant atmosphere. However, some reviews indicate sanitation and hygiene protocol gaps in specific service areas (for example, personal-care stations), suggesting that infection-prevention and equipment-cleaning practices may be inconsistent in parts of the facility.

Management and oversight are another area of divergence. Some reviewers praised caring management and respectful familyโ€“staff interactions, while other reviewers expressed dissatisfaction with leadership and ownership and called for changes. A small number of families indicated they had filed complaints with state authorities, which points to potential regulatory and compliance concerns that prospective families should consider.

In summary, Park View appears to offer many elements that families value โ€” compassionate aides, engaging activities, good food, and a well-kept campus โ€” but there are operational weaknesses that merit attention. The principal patterns to weigh are inconsistent nursing quality and periodic understaffing, delays in responding to resident requests, sanitation protocol gaps in certain personal-care areas, and mixed perceptions of management responsiveness. Prospective residents and families should balance the facility's day-to-day strengths against these operational issues, and may wish to ask about current staffing ratios, nursing oversight, cleaning protocols for personal-care services, and any recent regulatory actions or corrective plans during a tour or intake conversation.

    About Park View

Park View Nursing Care Center sits in the local community with 72 beds, offering care to residents who need skilled nursing around the clock, and the staff of 40 keeps everything running day and night, so help's always nearby if someone needs it. The center handles intermediate care for people who are very frail and need daily nursing, and they also help those who need short-term rehab services before heading back home after a hospital stay. Park View offers more than 15 different therapy services, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, and they make sure residents have access to medical, therapeutic, and nutritional help for recovery. They manage medication for all residents and provide hospice and respite care for those in the community who need extra support or a short stay. Residents live in apartment-style rooms with air conditioning, and they can join in on social and recreational activities, or connect using a platform that supports social networking and messaging through Messenger, though these features need a user login. Volunteer opportunities and medical training classes let people from around the area get involved, and the building offers amenities that help residents succeed and feel comfortable, with office hours running from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for questions or visits. Park View belongs to the Muleshoe Area Hospital District and focuses on supportive living, aiming to help people feel part of a community while getting the daily care they require, whether they're looking for long-term care, rehab that helps them get back home, or just a safe place with caring staff always at hand.
