    Warm attentive staff, excellent dining

I moved my mom here and I'm very pleased - the staff are warm, attentive and know residents by name, the community is clean and recently updated, and the dining (including room service) is excellent. Comfortable apartments, lots of activities and outings, reliable housekeeping/transport, and clear communication from management make this a welcoming, safe, good-value place I'd recommend.

    Summary of reviews

Solista Everett is frequently described as a community with warm, caring staff and a family-like culture. Many comments emphasize staff attentiveness, individualized attention from servers and housekeepers, and an activities director who is engaged and proactive. Emergency pendant systems and routine housekeeping are standard features; residents often benefit from included transportation, on-site salons, fitness and library spaces, and laundry facilities located on each floor. The property also offers multiple apartment sizes with notable perks such as decks and Cascade Mountain views, and the overall price point is frequently framed as affordable relative to local alternatives.

Care and staffing are widely cited as the facility’s primary strengths. Reviewers commonly highlight respectful, compassionate interactions and a sense of safety and emotional well-being among residents. At the same time, there are recurring operational concerns: leadership turnover and intermittent lapses in management continuity have been noted, and families describe variable communication and follow-up from both site management and corporate. Maintenance responsiveness is inconsistent in practice — residents appreciate a generally clean environment, yet deferred-maintenance items (roof/leak repairs, balcony repair, carpeting and common-area refreshes) and occasional workmanship issues are recurring themes.

Dining receives mixed assessments. Many residents praise the abundance of meals, special holiday dining, and moments where food is described as excellent or restaurant-quality. Others report inconsistent food quality, limited nutritional variety, and services that sometimes result in cold or carbohydrate-heavy offerings. Meal logistics also occasionally present accessibility or acoustic challenges: dining-room noise, seating groupings, and distance from elevators or dining areas can be barriers for residents with hearing impairment or mobility limitations.

Programming and social life are generally strong. The community offers a broad calendar of activities, daily programs, walking and gardening clubs, weekly outings and field trips, religious services, and regular social events. These opportunities create a vibrant environment for residents who are ambulatory and socially engaged. However, participation levels vary, and several accounts describe lower resident engagement or temporary activity hiatuses (for example during infection-control periods).

Physical plant and accessibility are important considerations. The site’s hillside, multi-level design yields excellent views and interesting apartment layouts but also creates navigational challenges: long walks to dining or elevators, stairs and level changes, and units located far from building services can be difficult for people with limited mobility or respiratory conditions. Many units lack full cooking ranges (no stove), which suits residents preferring all-inclusive meal plans but limits those who wish to cook. There are also reports of recurring building repairs and some safety-related observations that prospective families should clarify during a tour.

In sum, Solista Everett appears well suited to independent seniors seeking an affordable, socially active community with attentive staff, included meals, and multiple on-site amenities. Prospective residents who prioritize strong day-to-day staff relationships, activities, and value may find it an excellent fit. Those requiring consistent clinical oversight, frequent in-unit care, robust accessibility, or highly reliable building-condition maintenance should assess management continuity, maintenance response protocols, dining-service consistency, and unit accessibility during an in-person visit and obtain up-to-date answers about leadership stability and recent repair work.

    About Solista Everett

Solista Everett sits in Everett and gives people a comfortable place to live with plenty to do and see, and the mountain views from many rooms make a nice backdrop while folks sit out on the patio or in the courtyard. The building has been remodeled and now has apartments that come in studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom styles, with sizes ranging from 383 to 901 square feet, and some apartments have patios or balconies. Every unit has a full kitchen and dining area, plus accessible bathrooms with walk-in showers, grab bars, safety rails, and modern fixtures, so moving around's not a problem, and for those who need a little more help, there are barrier-free and wheelchair-accessible options all through the place.

Daily meals come from a chef and get made from fresh, seasonal ingredients, and residents eat in a restaurant-style dining room, a bistro, or at one of the private dining spaces if they've got guests, and between meals there's always coffee at the café or a snack at the bar seating next to the community game tables. Housekeeping, laundry, and linen service happen every week, so residents don't have to spend their time on chores, and the staff takes care of maintenance and offers help with medication, bathing, and other personal care for people who need assisted living or those in memory care or adult day care programs. The rent includes most utilities like cable, water, sewer, electricity, and gas.

Solista Everett has plenty to do right on site, from fitness rooms filled with free weights, resistance bands, and the Forever Fit exercise classes, to a cozy library with lots of books, to game and billiard rooms for cards, Bridge, Texas Hold'em, and other activities. Residents can enjoy the art studio and the Melody & Masterpiece creative classes, try Wii bowling or take part in the Memories in Motion program that celebrates stories and accomplishments, or explore virtual worlds with the Virtual Voyages experience. There's also regular outings with the community shuttle, so getting to appointments or local events is simple, and for people who like to travel, there's a program that lets residents visit other retirement communities free for up to a week.

The building comes with elevators, covered parking, and garages, and there's WiFi, cable, and computers available in the business and computer center. Safety is considered, with 24/7 emergency response devices, locked mailboxes, and secure entrances. There are dedicated spaces for activities, including a media room, an exercise gym, an art studio, and a chapel for people who want a quiet spot to pray or reflect, plus plenty of comfortable seating for relaxing in the common areas under big windows filled with natural light.

Pets are welcome here, and the Pawsitive Health Program brings furry friends into the mix for wellness activities. Well-maintained gardens, an outdoor patio, and scenic mountain views encourage people to spend time outside. With daily housekeeping, chef-prepared meals, an on-site salon for hair care, and regular field trips, Solista Everett aims to give each resident a supportive environment with all the essentials, while engaging programs and friendly common spaces keep things lively, no matter what a person's interests happen to be.
