    Attentive staff, clean, homelike care

I've been very satisfied with this place. The staff are attentive, kind and truly caring, management is supportive, and the facility feels clean, safe and home-like. Rooms are spacious with private baths, meals are high-quality and varied, activities are engaging (live music, bingo, religious services), nurses are on site, and family communication and visitation are excellent - I feel confident in the care.

    Summary of reviews

Angels Touch Assisted Living & Memory Care is presented overall as a dementia-focused community with strengths in compassionate caregiving, cleanliness, and family-oriented policies. Many families highlight knowledgeable and caring staff, visible management, and a home-like environment with seasonal decorations and accessible outdoor patios. The facility offers daily housekeeping and laundry services, private rooms that can be personalized, on-site nursing oversight, and a locked environment appropriate for individuals with memory impairment.

Care and staff performance is a consistent strength for many families: caregivers are frequently described as attentive, respectful, and communicative, with management that is actively involved and reachable 24/7. Several accounts emphasize prompt notification of health changes and staff dedication in challenging circumstances. That said, reviewers also describe variability: some experienced friendly, responsive teams, while others noted staff busyness, occasional delays in responding to call bells, and periods of turnover. This inconsistency in staffing and responsiveness is a recurring operational concern that can affect perceived quality of day-to-day care.

Dining and nutrition are generally viewed positively. Numerous reviewers praised the quality, variety, and presentation of meals, including appeals to family preferences and special dietary needs; live dining events and appealing menus were noted. However, there are recurring comments about meal-service consistency — specifically meal temperature and menu repetition — and a few families reported that food quality improved after staffing or kitchen changes. Prospective residents should inquire about current kitchen leadership and meal-service practices during a tour.

Activity programming receives mixed but informative feedback. The community offers a broad set of activities — music, singing, bingo, cards, religious services, and outings — and many families praised live musicians and regular group events. Conversely, other families observed instability in activities staffing or a reduction in programming (notably during and immediately after infection-control periods), and some residents were described as having limited engagement with offered media or reading materials. Activity continuity and the match between offerings and individual resident interests appear uneven at times.

The physical plant and amenities are generally described as clean, modern, and well maintained, with comfortable common areas and sizable dining spaces. Memory-care design features and safety measures are appreciated. That said, there is variability in room size and feel: some families found rooms spacious and inviting, while others felt certain rooms were more institutional. A number of reviewers cited missing on-site amenities such as a library or beauty salon, and at least one family mentioned access/parking constraints; these are practical considerations to verify in person.

Management and communication present a mix of strengths and weaknesses. Several families praised accessible leadership, family-friendly visitation (including overnight stays) and prompt communication about clinical changes. At the same time, communication gaps between families and some frontline staff or administrative personnel were described, and there are isolated concerns about lost items and inconsistent laundry handling. Cost is another pattern: the community is described as relatively expensive by some families, though many felt it was in line with similar local providers given the memory-care focus.

In sum, Angels Touch appears to provide a strong memory-care environment with many families reporting compassionate staff, clean facilities, engaging programming, and good clinical oversight. Prospective residents and families should tour current rooms, ask about recent staffing stability (including activity coordinator and kitchen leadership), review meal-service practices, and confirm available amenities and parking. These operational questions will help determine if the facility’s current programmatic consistency and room options match a prospective resident’s individual needs and expectations.

About Angels Touch Assisted Living & Memory Care

Angels Touch Assisted Living & Memory Care gives seniors both independence and help with everyday living, offering full-time support with things like dressing, bathing, grooming, eating, and mobility, and the place even provides memory care for people with Alzheimer's or dementia. The facility sits on a multi-acre campus surrounded by greenery, with a big patio that looks out over natural wetlands, and the whole place sticks to a single-floor layout to make it simple to get around, especially with wide, accessible halls and rooms for anyone who uses a wheelchair or needs mobility aids. Rooms are available in large single or double suites with private full baths, and residents can bring their own things to decorate and make it feel like home, while every unit comes with closet space, cable or satellite TV, and Wi-Fi.

The staff's around all day and night, including full-time in-house registered nurses and a licensed dietitian to help each person based on their needs-everyone gets a care plan, and daily safety checks are done. Staff are friendly, trained in memory care, behavior management, chronic illnesses, client rights, and even things like transferring or two-person transfers for those who need more support, so they know how to handle situations calmly, especially in memory care where keeping residents safe and preventing wandering is important, with locked doors, a wander guard security system, and state-of-the-art surveillance cameras. Residents get medication reminders and help with diabetes management, hospice care, immunizations, and on-site or in-home health care, with transportation and parking provided, and there's a chef and licensed dietary nutritionists making meals that account for allergies, diabetes, and other restrictions.

For daily life, Angels Touch keeps things active with a long list of activities for the mind and body, like games, brain fitness, fitness centers, group activities, movie nights, arts room, gardening, walking paths, and outdoor spaces for relaxing, plus two big living rooms, sunrooms, a large dining room, a private dining room for small groups, and shared spaces that are well lit, clean, and well maintained, all overseen by activity staff with supervision in memory care. Residents can have visitors any time, and the place even sends residents offsite for devotional services or offers religious events in the community itself. There's a whirlpool spa and beauty salon, and services like housecleaning, laundry, linen changes, bed making, pest control, maintenance, groundskeeping, and trash removal. For emergencies and safety, there's sprinkler and fire detection systems, controlled building access, emergency response systems, personal alert pendants, and fall-prevention routines.

The campus is designed for comfort but monitored for safety, with large outdoor patios, fencing, and trails for walking and relaxing, and the staff help with everything from companionship, escorted travel, to personal care. Angels Touch has received awards like Best of Senior Living and Best Activities and has operated locally since 2008 under the ownership of two long-term care nurses. They accept insurance, Medicaid, private pay, and VA benefits. The facility tries to keep things homelike, safe, friendly, with nutritious meals, and enough activities and support so that residents can enjoy each day at their own pace.
