    Warm compassionate staff, excellent care

I highly recommend this senior home. The staff and management - especially owner Pat - are warm, compassionate, and easy to work with; two live-in caregivers and an excellent caregiver-to-resident ratio made my father's transition smooth and even healed his bedsores. Meals are healthy and delicious, activities enjoyable, and rooms and common areas are spotless and well maintained. They involve family in decisions and truly meet residents' needs; the only drawback is the location isn't ideal.

Caregivers help with washing, grooming, bathing, hygiene, dressing, toileting, incontinence, and medication management and administration. A registered nurse does monthly wellness checks, while a licensed nurse remains available for additional medical needs, and dental, podiatrist, and doctor-on-call services round out the healthcare options. For those needing help to appointments, shopping, or spiritual activities, the staff arranges transportation or offers rides, and resident parking sits on site. Housekeeping, linen services, and daily chores get handled by staff, so daily life feels more comfortable for those who need assistance. Residents can bring their pets if they meet the policy, and there's a mobile barber or hairdresser for easy access to grooming and beauty services in the built-in salon or parlor. All services come under regulation by California's Department of Social Services, and the focus remains on safety, comfort, and keeping everyone active and engaged in a small, tight-knit community.
