Wide Horizon sits on a 21-acre hillside with pretty views of the Front Range and Rocky Mountains, where folks can take strolls along walking paths and enjoy the quiet natural setting. The place is made for people relying on Christian Science treatment and faith-based healing, offering a range of care types like assisted living, supervised residential living, memory care, and nursing services. Horizon House has rooms for those looking for a peaceful place for prayer and spiritual renewal, and there are three rooms set aside for supervised residential living, plus 25 private rooms for Christian Science nursing care, where care is given by Christian Science nurses who support people seeking healing through prayer. Volunteers come to help with the mission, and the staff is known for being helpful and kind, which helps keep the place welcoming and friendly.
Wide Horizon has programs for rest and study, spiritual renewal, and supervised independent living, so folks get a good mix of quiet time and social activities, like daily Bible lesson study, weekly Christian Science testimony meetings, outings in Colorado, and educational options in the library or study room. Memory care services are set up for people with dementia or Alzheimer's, and nursing services can be given inpatient or outpatient. There's also a visiting nurse program for short-term home help. The facility has Christian Science Nurses Training programs, with levels 1 through 4, and classroom mentoring, all recently accredited by The Commission for Accreditation of Christian Science Nursing Organizations/Facilities.
Meals are made with quality ingredients, and the dining room is set up for community eating. Folks can bring their pets too. There's a nursing call system, and everything's regulated by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Wide Horizon is a member of the Colorado Nonprofit Association and the Association of Organizations for Christian Science Nursing, and people recognize it for warm care, with awards like Best of Senior Living. The campus welcomes those looking for supported Christian Science living, whether they need short-term rest, ongoing assisted living, or more advanced memory and nursing care.
