    Exceptional care in intimate home

I'm very pleased with the care my mom received - the staff (Marie, Miss Hope, director and advisor Stacy Wagner, and chef Gilbert) were kind, professional, and went above and beyond. The small, home-like (5-guest) setting is clean, secure, and non-institutional, with good food (gluten-free options), engaging activities, attentive health/medication monitoring, and excellent communication. The transition and respite stays were smooth, the price reasonable, and I would highly recommend and use this place again.

About Golden Age Senior Living Care LLC

Golden Age Senior Living Care LLC sits in a quiet Kissimmee neighborhood at 533 Bristol Circle, licensed by the State of Florida, and has six licensed beds in a home with a family-like feel, where a small number of residents can get a lot of attention from the care staff who are there around the clock, so residents always have someone to help if needed. The staff supports seniors who need long-term care, and offers help with bathing, dressing, medication management, diabetic care including insulin and blood sugar checks, and incontinence care, along with standby assistance, assisted transfers, and care for residents who can't walk well or who might wander, since there's a secure memory care area that uses alarms and bracelets for extra safety, and they have technology to stop wandering and keep everyone safe.

People who have Alzheimer's or dementia can be cared for here, with a dedicated building for memory care and plenty of activities to keep them engaged, which is important because keeping busy can help lessen confusion, and there are nurses on staff with a doctor on call, so health needs get attention day or night, and staff have more than thirty years of experience in geriatric care, which says a lot about their ability to help with different needs, even for those with harder behaviors. Residents get nutritious meals planned by the staff, special diets like gluten-free if needed, and choices about what they want to eat, and they're served in common areas or their rooms, plus they get on-site housekeeping, laundry, and help with personal care, and when trips are needed, there's transportation and parking for residents.

Rooms include private, semi-private, and studios, and feature private baths, wheelchair accessible showers, and sometimes even kitchenettes, and everything's set up to give comfort without making the space confusing, with both indoor and outdoor places to sit and relax, along with devotional services and activities both inside and outside the community, which helps residents feel a part of daily life. The facility also offers hospice, respite care, and home care services for when folks need extra help or when families need a break, and the average cost for memory care rooms ranges from $2,850 to $3,300, with a buy-in and a respite fee if only staying a short time.

Golden Age Senior Living Care LLC has gotten strong reviews and families like the friendly staff, who always seem ready to lend a hand, and some past awards for quality care, but what stands out the most is that the small size lets residents get to know each other and the staff very well, and folks often say it feels like being at home instead of in a big institution, so for someone looking for a close-knit, peaceful setting with help for daily tasks and memory care, this is one place in Kissimmee that fits the bill.
