Sutter Terrace

Sutter Terrace is a senior apartment community for people aged 55 and older, and folks who live there have a choice between one- or two-bedroom apartments with one bathroom, usually ranging from 534 to 736 square feet, and most units have central heating and air, private patios or balconies, kitchens with full appliance packages, breakfast bars, and extra storage, and the apartments are smoke free, comfortable, and kept clean, with both hardwood-style flooring and plush carpeting in different areas. Residents get some utilities paid like water, sewer, and trash, and rent is usually about 30% of monthly income, and Section 8 as well as the Section 202 program and HUD are accepted, making the place more affordable for seniors with limited income. There's assigned uncovered parking, a business center with WiFi, laundry care centers, elevators, private entries, and on-site mail delivery, as well as on-site maintenance and an on-site manager to help residents when needed. Sutter Terrace is pet friendly, though dogs and cats must be under 25 pounds, service animals are accepted, and there's a pet deposit and a small monthly fee. Sutter Terrace doesn't offer any special care services or unique programs, but it does focus on giving seniors a comfortable, independent, and affordable place to call home, with an inviting atmosphere and a good range of simple amenities that make daily living easier. The building first opened in 1998 and was remodeled in 2015 and 2016, so while it's not new, it's kept up to date and tries to meet the changing needs of its residents.
