A senior living advisor is a professional who helps seniors and their families through the process of transitioning into a senior living community. The advisor first gets to know the senior and their family's needs, preferences, and budget, and then uses that information to narrow down the best possible options. Some advisors will personally take the family on tours of those communities, and after the family has selected a community, the advisor may help them navigate the application and admission process. Ultimately, the main goal of a senior living advisor is to help people make the best choice for senior living, and to make the transition to senior living as smooth and stress-free as possible.
