      About Valencia Falls

Valencia Falls is an active adult community for people 55 and older, with 724 single-story Mediterranean-style homes built around 2001 and spread out over 7.18 acres, all behind a gated entrance with 24-hour security guards in the gatehouse, so you know there's a real sense of safety and quiet here, and you see the lush landscaping as soon as you come through the gate and past the big clubhouse, which is 25,000 square feet, and holds almost everything you need for keeping busy, like the fitness center, an aerobics room, the card room, poker room, billiards room, arts and crafts rooms, classroom for meetings, and a Social Hall that fits 700 people for events, performances from well-known entertainers, and lectures or dinners that the full-time activities director helps organize along with the different clubs, classes, and organizations. Folks can join in on all sorts of things from yoga, Zumba, water aerobics, exercise in the fitness center, body sculpting, or join a club for photography or the cinema, and if someone enjoys being outside, there's a poolside cafe for having breakfast or lunch, a resort-style swimming pool with beautiful landscaping all around, shuffleboard courts, bocce courts, a basketball court, a poolside sandy beach area next to a stocked lake you can fish in, plus a playground for when grandkids visit, and a walking path for some peace and quiet, so there's quite a lot for both staying active and relaxing in the sun. Tennis lovers have seven courts, with six set up for nighttime play, and there are also pickleball courts, with organized Palm Tennis leagues for advanced and beginner players, singles and mixed doubles, as well as day and night games, and there's a bunch of other clubs and leagues to join too. Maintenance-free living means residents don't have to do yardwork or worry about repairs, and people who need more help can get services ranging from help with daily tasks and reminders for medication to round-the-clock care, memory care for those with Alzheimer's or dementia with special programs, and specialized support from skilled nursing for wound care and rehab, all on-site. The homes have stone and stucco exteriors and each is set up to be easy for single-story living, and while most of the facilities are shared, each person has their own home for privacy. Event registration and amenity reservations are handled through a system that lets residents keep track of activities, and there are community videos and photo galleries to see what's happening around, plus governing documents and eForms to help with management, and with all these things together, people here stay social, healthy, and engaged in a setting that's secure, pretty, and focused on enjoying life without added stress.
