      About Hampton Cay

Hampton Cay sits as a private, gated community built between 2012 and 2015 by K. Hovnanian® Homes, and has 192 Key West-style townhomes that are all two stories tall with a two-car garage and three bedrooms, and you'll find between 2,181 and 2,556 square feet of living space, with most places offering stone countertops, high-end appliances, and custom closets, and every home has hurricane impact glass in all the windows and doors so you don't have to worry much during storms. The homes have open layouts, high ceilings-ten feet on the first floor-and wood-look ceramic tile flooring, and if you like to cook, the gourmet kitchens have quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, updated cabinets, and even a UV air purifier connected to the HVAC system. There's a washer and dryer in each unit, custom closets, private balconies, and you get lake views from some, especially off the master bedrooms, and you find things like stylish furnishings and customized interiors that make it feel warm and inviting, although these are still townhouse properties and not connected to care services. Hampton Cay has three models called Bonaire, Aurora, and Calista, and the Calista model gives you a downstairs master bedroom, while the other two have bedrooms upstairs, and if you're interested in space, the average size is about 2,138 square feet and the average price per square foot is $306. The community itself sits on about 4.3 acres of land, and you'll see a clubhouse, a big resort pool, a spa, a fitness center, and a game room, and there are places to walk outside including a lake, and Hampton Cay is pet-friendly if having an animal is important. Some balconies let you enjoy the outdoors and take in the lake views, and the community has impact doors and windows for hurricane season. It's designed for people wanting a quiet retreat, but it's close enough to shopping and dining, and you have options for beachfront, golfing, boating, or waterfront activities nearby. There aren't additional care services or medical support provided as part of the community, and what you get here is townhome living with some nice features for active adults wanting a peaceful and sturdy home in South Florida.
