Finding the right senior living community is a lot to take on alone. Working with us is meant to make it less overwhelming — here’s how it usually goes:

   The "Life and Care" Assessment

   It starts with a conversation about your lifestyle preferences, budget, and care needs — including the small things families don’t think to mention (one family realized their mother had recently developed a taste for sardines!). It’s also your chance to ask whatever you want about senior living in general.

   A Shortlist Worth Touring

   We know the communities in your area and can narrow the local options down to a handful worth your time. Quite honestly, much of the value is in what gets ruled out.

   Knowing What to Look For

   From that conversation comes a checklist of the needs and preferences that came up, so you know what to ask about on a tour and can check the boxes off as you go — instead of realizing on the drive home what you forgot to bring up.

   The Visits

   We can help line up the tours, and where our schedule allows, come along — a second set of eyes if something seems off, and someone to ask the questions that are easy to forget when you’re standing in the lobby.

   The Debrief

   While the visits are still fresh, you’ll talk through what you saw: Did they check your boxes? Which one had the kindest care staff? Then you get the space to make your own decision.

   The Paperwork

   The contract is the step that matters most. We can walk you through what’s included in the base rate and what gets billed as an add-on (like “medication management”), and point you toward funding options worth looking into — Veteran’s Aid, long-term care benefits — before you sign anything.

7. 7

   Move-In Day

   Once you’ve chosen, we can help make sure the community has what it needs to welcome your loved one properly, so day one feels less like a move and more like a homecoming.

   The Follow-up

   We’ll check in after the move to hear how it’s going. (And to be honest, this is also for our own benefit — it’s one of the best ways we stay on top of which communities are the best in the area.)
