    Spotless facility compassionate staff satisfied

I've lived here since 2017 and overall I'm very pleased: the facility is spotless and cozy, meals are tasty and on time, and scheduling visits or services like haircuts and nail trims is easy. The staff and management are professional, compassionate, and deeply committed to residents' well-being - wonderful care and a caring atmosphere, with only minor room for improvement.

    Summary of reviews

Reviewer feedback for Twin Hearts Senior Care II presents a clear pattern of strengths in person-centered care and administrative accessibility, alongside notable and recurring concerns about the facility environment and operational consistency. Many comments emphasize compassionate, attentive staff and management that is approachable and open to feedback; these strengths are linked to timely basic care, grooming services, and sustained resident relationships. At the same time, other reviewers describe environmental and operational shortcomings that warrant careful evaluation by prospective residents and families.

Care quality: Several reviewers describe attentive day-to-day caregiving, with staff characterized as kind, nurturing, and committed to residents' well-being. Accounts include on-time assistance, consistent personal-care tasks (for example, nail trimming and haircuts), and long-term placements that suggest continuity for some residents. However, there are also statements indicating uneven staff performance and concerns about reliability and professionalism; this suggests variability in how care is delivered depending on shift or staff assignment.

Staff and management: Administration receives positive comments for being professional, knowledgeable, and easy to reach—responding to scheduling and visitation needs and accepting feedback. This leadership appears to foster a caring culture that inspires family confidence for many. Nonetheless, concerns about inconsistent staff competency and occasional untrustworthy atmospheres indicate potential issues with hiring, training, supervision, or staff turnover that should be explored during a visit.

Dining and activities: Dining is frequently described positively, with reliable meal timing and praise for the cooks. The availability of on-site grooming and personal-care services is cited as a practical convenience. Reviews provide limited detail about structured activities or programming, so prospective families should ask about scheduled activities, social engagement opportunities, and how individual preferences are supported.

Facilities and maintenance: Descriptions of the physical environment are mixed. Some reviewers call the facility cozy, comforting, and well kept, while others raise sanitation concerns, odor concerns, and point to an older, dated interior with limited outdoor upkeep. There are also explicit pest-control concerns and mentions of deficiencies in kitchen cleanliness and other maintenance areas. Safety-detail lapses were noted by some reviewers, implying that environmental and infection-control practices may be unevenly enforced.

Notable patterns and recommendations: The overall pattern is one of strong relational care and responsive management for many residents, coupled with operational inconsistencies that affect cleanliness, facility upkeep, and occasional staff performance. Prospective residents and families should schedule an in-person tour focused on current cleanliness, pest-control measures, kitchen and laundry standards, visible safety features, and staff-to-resident ratios. Ask management about staff training, turnover rates, pest-control contracts, recent corrective actions, and references from current families. Observing a mealtime and speaking directly with the administrator about quality-assurance processes will help clarify whether the facility's strengths are reliably delivered in the areas that matter most to you.
