    First-class compassionate care clean pricey

I placed my grandmother here two years ago and I couldn't be more pleased - it's first-class, not institutional, with a large uncluttered room and private bathroom that made her say she could "hardly wait to get home." The owner and long-tenured, compassionate staff (Teara and Dolly stood out) provide thoughtful, personalized care, constant communication, live music, activities, three good meals a day, laundry and transportation - staff even sat with her when needed, which gave our family real peace of mind. Residents are relaxed and happy, the place is very clean, and referrals say the same. Downsides: it's pricey, there can be a waitlist (for a reason), and there is no on-site nurse; I also experienced occasional poor communication from management. Highly recommended.
