    Friendly staff inconsistent care management

I'm grateful for the friendly, professional staff and how bright, clean and well-kept Carmel was - my mother was happier, enjoyed walks, classes and the occasional barbecue. However, staffing felt thin, dementia care was inconsistent, and accessibility (bathrooms) plus an antiquated intercom were disappointing. The owner's cold manner and a misleading tour left me uneasy. Overall, great day-to-day staff and a comfortable facility, but know the care and management issues up front.
