    Caring staff clean facility recommended

I placed my mom here and was very pleased - the staff were consistently friendly, caring and responsive (especially Ann and PT Matt), and we felt listened to and safe. The facility is clean, modern and well-maintained with bright common areas, spacious rooms, a gorgeous renovated dining space with great food and variety, lots of activities and good therapy - a very positive, home-like experience I would recommend.

    Summary of reviews

The reviews reflect a facility with clear strengths in hands-on care, therapy, activities and physical environment, alongside recurring operational weaknesses that families should evaluate closely. Many families praised the bedside care: attentive nurses and CNAs, skilled physical and occupational therapy (frequently named), and effective wound-care services. Respondents frequently highlighted an active activities program โ€” daily options, community outings and social events such as Bingo โ€” and described a welcoming, home-like atmosphere supported by friendly frontline staff. The building and public spaces are described as modern, clean and well-maintained, with spacious, well-equipped rooms and a recently renovated dining area.

Quality of care is mixed. Clinically strong elements include rehabilitation services and wound care, and several reviewers said residents made good progress and felt well cared for. At the same time, there are recurring concerns about care coordination: delays in specialty testing, uneven management of complex needs, and instances where discharge or care-plan communication did not reach family decision-makers. Those items point to operational gaps in care transitions and communication protocols rather than uniformly poor bedside care.

Staff and operational issues present a measurable pattern. While many reviewers described staff as compassionate and helpful, others reported uneven staffing levels, CNA shortages, and inconsistent delivery of basic personal care (for example, scheduled showers or restorative-care activities not always occurring). Reviewers also raised safety-related operational concerns โ€” notably practices around bed safety and fall prevention โ€” and indicated variability in how those risks are managed. Phone responsiveness and incident-response coordination were also cited as inconsistent, which can compound family anxiety when timely updates are needed.

Dining and activities are generally strengths but not universally so. The activities program and social engagement received consistent positive mention, with outings and regular programming helping residents feel more connected. Food quality received mixed feedback: some families described meals as very good with good variety, while others found the dining experience only average. The facilityโ€™s renovated dining space and bright common areas were highlighted positively.

Management and reputation show both change and uncertainty. Several reviewers noted apparent improvements under new ownership and recommended the facility; others described concerns about leadership consistency, past reputation issues, and even individual allegations involving property or power-of-attorney handling. Those are serious items that suggest prospective families should confirm current policies and oversight structures rather than rely on historical commentary alone.

For prospective residents and families: verify the facilityโ€™s current staffing ratios and communication protocols, ask specifically about fall-prevention and bed-safety policies (including restraint and rail policies), confirm how the facility handles informed consent and resident belongings, and review therapy and wound-care capabilities. Also request a clear point of contact for updates and an outline of discharge and incident-notification procedures. Overall, the facility shows strong clinical and experiential elements in therapy, activities and environment, offset by operational inconsistencies in communication, staffing and safety practices that merit direct inquiry before placement.
