    Outstanding compassionate care and recovery

I had a very positive experience at Premier Place - attentive, compassionate staff and a top-notch rehab team (PT/OT) helped my loved one recover faster than expected. The food was restaurant-quality, rooms were clean and hotel-like, activities and social dining kept spirits up, and responsive leadership (Marci and Courtney stood out) made the stay easy; I highly recommend it for rehab needs.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Reviews indicate that Premier Place is generally perceived as a high-quality rehabilitation and short-term care provider with a hotel-like facility, private rooms, and a strong emphasis on therapy-driven recovery. The most frequent strengths cited are the clinical therapy programs (PT/OT and speech), attentive social-work support, and dining that many families characterized as restaurant-quality. Multiple accounts emphasize a positive rehabilitation culture, coordinated discharge planning, and staff who focus on returning residents home safely.

Care and clinical services: Clinical care and therapy are consistently highlighted as core strengths. Physical and occupational therapy teams are described as skilled, engaged, and outcome-oriented; speech therapy is singled out in several accounts for measurable swallowing and diet progression. Nursing and CNA staff are praised for compassion and professionalism, and social-work leadership receives repeated positive mention for communication and family support. At the same time, there are operational concerns that prospective families should note: several reviews raise issues about inconsistent responsiveness to basic needs and call lights, and a small number of accounts raise questions about medication-administration processes and staff credentialing. These latter items suggest prospective families should verify medication protocols, staff licensure checks, and escalation pathways during their evaluation.

Dining and activities: Dining is a prominent positive theme—many reviewers describe gourmet meals, accommodating dietary considerations, and a notable pastry program. Meals are often framed as a morale booster for residents. The facility also offers a range of activities (live music, painting, movie nights, social dining and games) that support social engagement during rehabilitation. However, there are mentions of reduced or inconsistent activity availability in some accounts and communication barriers around meal-selection forms (language/accessibility), which may affect participation for residents with limited English proficiency.

Facilities and management: The physical plant receives consistently favorable comments: clean, well-appointed rooms, leather recliners, and a well-equipped therapy gym contribute to the perceived hospitality model. Leadership and front-line managers are frequently praised for responsiveness and coordination of care; named staff are repeatedly thanked for going above and beyond. Contrastingly, a number of reviews describe frustrating admissions interactions or variability in admissions decisions, and some concerns about staff language ability and interpersonal consistency. These patterns point to a generally strong institutional model with occasional weaknesses in administrative consistency and direct-care communication.

Notable patterns and guidance for families: The aggregate picture is one of strong therapy outcomes, high-quality meals, and a supportive, hotel-like environment that many families recommend for short-term rehab. The main operational risks to probe further during a tour or intake conversation are language support for non-English speakers, responsiveness protocols for call lights and basic needs, medication-administration and credential-verification procedures, the consistency of scheduled activities, and admissions decision policies. Asking to meet therapy staff, review staffing ratios, see recent activity calendars, and review credentialing/medication-safety policies can help families confirm whether Premier Place’s strengths align with their loved one’s needs.

    About Premier Place

Premier Place sits in Pelican Bay, Florida, as part of The Glenview at Pelican Bay, and you'll find that folks who come here notice right away that the grounds are safe, with a protected nature trail and some nice views of a lake with a big, arcing fountain out back, and the building itself looks modern and well-lit, which helps everyone move around with confidence. The place stays open all day and night, every day, from Midnight to Midnight, making it easy for families to check in and settle in at any hour, and the check-in process stays simple so families feel alright about leaving their loved ones in care. Inside, there's always a nurse on hand 24/7, and residents can get professional, respectful care for daily needs, with a good group of kind and helpful nurses, and people seem happy with the care, since Premier Place has a reservation rating of 4.9 based on 20 reviews.

Seniors get a choice between independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing, which means a lot of different needs are met, and the independent folks live in apartments or penthouses that are called "luxurious," with weekly cleaning, apartment maintenance, laundry services, and full access to a bunch of handy amenities, including an electric charging station. People who need help with everyday things get assisted living services, which include help with bathing, dressing, and meals, but still let folks keep as much independence as possible, and there's continuous staff support with shared spaces so residents can gather for activities or meals. For folks dealing with Alzheimer's or other types of dementia, memory care has a safe facility, personalized care plans, and activities meant to keep the mind and body busy. The skilled nursing team can help with medical care and short-term recovery programs, and there's always a focus on setting and reaching small goals to help people get back on their feet.

There's also a Health and Wellness Center with a 5-star rating built just for residents, and the onsite Health Center offers family medicine, women's health, behavioral health, pediatrics, internal medicine, nutrition counseling, and preventative care, so there's a pretty wide reach in terms of what's available, and the center runs as a nonprofit focused on serving the Naples community with special attention to those who might have a harder time getting care. Folks in rehab get help in well-appointed rooms, and the walk from the apartments to medical help at Premier Place doesn't take long, making it easier for those with mobility needs. Concierge home care is tailored to each person, and families get extra guidance for long-term care, insurance, and advice for family caregiving.

Premier Place puts a lot of effort into supporting an active life. There's a full schedule of social, educational, and fun activities to help residents make friends and keep their minds sharp, and activities run in shared rooms, plus outside along the nature trail where folks can walk. Amenities are set up to feel like home-there are resort-style touches and plenty of comfortable spots where people can relax or read, and there's always room to join in the day's program no matter your needs or abilities. Every resident gets a care plan fitted to their situation. The team of skilled healthcare professionals aims to keep everyone feeling respected, valued, and at ease, and, as part of a community health center with multiple accreditations, Premier Place works to offer accessible care, health education, and outreach to improve wellness for everybody living there.
