I'm very pleased with this beautiful, recently renovated community - spotless, spacious apartments and excellent amenities like a pool, theater and dining. The staff are warm, professional and responsive, the activities director keeps a full, engaging calendar, and attentive nursing and management make it feel like a safe, home-like place I gladly recommend.

Summary of reviews
Overall impression: Reviews portray a community with many strengths—clean, bright common areas; an active social calendar; an array of on-site amenities; and staff who are frequently described as warm, patient and engaged. Residents and families commonly praise the activities program (exercise classes, water aerobics, arts and crafts, cinema nights, outings) and memory-care engagement. Many reviewers highlighted chef-prepared, restaurant-style dining and an elegant dining room as positive features. The facility appears to offer a comprehensive, all-in-one environment that includes therapy and some on-site medical services, transportation, and rehabilitation options, which is attractive to families seeking convenience and program variety.
Care and staff: Direct care staff and activity personnel receive consistent positive feedback for being caring, attentive, and often going beyond expectations. Long-tenured employees and specific staff members are singled out for providing reassuring, family-like relationships. At the same time, there are recurring operational concerns: some families described delayed responses to calls for help, weekend staffing shortfalls, and uneven clinical coordination (examples include missed checks or delays in follow-up after insurance changes). These patterns suggest generally strong day-to-day caregiving tempered by variability in staffing coverage and clinical-incident handling; prospective families should ask about current staffing ratios, weekend coverage, and incident response protocols.
Dining and activities: Dining is a clear strength for many residents—menus, meal presentation, and restaurant-style service receive frequent praise. Nevertheless, food quality and variety are not uniform across reports: some residents found portions or menu rotation inconsistent or overly salty, and a few reviewers noted repetitive offerings. Activities are a major positive: a full calendar of social, recreational, and religious opportunities, along with off-site trips, contributes to resident engagement. Memory-care programming and specialized activities for cognitive support are highlighted as particularly strong.
Facilities and amenities: The campus offers a broad spectrum of amenities—pools, movie theater, salon, bar/happy hour, multiple common living areas, and landscaped grounds. Many units and common areas have been recently renovated and described as modern and cozy. However, reviewers also noted an older portion of the property and active renovation work that can cause disruption. More seriously, there are multiple mentions of environmental issues in certain units, including mold and mildew concerns and inconsistent remediation outcomes; these accounts indicate variability in environmental maintenance and remediation practices that should be investigated during a visit.
Management and operations: Tour and sales staff receive near-universal praise for being informative, patient, and helpful during the decision process. Administrative responsiveness is also praised in many cases. Conversely, there are patterns of communication breakdowns between management and families around care changes, transitions, billing, and incident reporting. Several families described abrupt transitions or poor coordination during acute clinical events, which points to gaps in clinical-incident management and family communication. There are also recurring notes about complex or escalating pricing in certain situations and difficulties scheduling specialty appointments, salon visits, or telehealth due to connectivity limitations.
Notable patterns and recommendations: The dominant themes are an active, amenity-rich community with caring staff and a strong activities/dining focus, alongside operational variability in maintenance, staffing consistency, clinical follow-up, and family communication. Prospective residents and families should (1) tour specific unit(s) to inspect for environmental issues and ask about recent remediation work, (2) clarify staffing levels and weekend coverage, (3) review incident-response and discharge/transition policies, (4) examine contract terms and potential fee escalation, (5) ask about internet reliability for virtual visits, and (6) confirm how specialty services and salon appointments are scheduled. Doing so will help match expectations to the particular building, unit, and management team, since experiences appear to vary by unit condition and by managerial consistency.

About Springtree Senior Living
Springtree Senior Living sits behind a nice line of mature palm trees and a flowing fountain, and there's a shaded carport at the entrance for people coming and going, so parking's easy, which is useful since there's extra spots for guests and residents right on-site. The facility holds a state license (AL7433) and offers independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care services, which is important for folks with changing needs, because they can get more support as things change, and there's no need to move again later on. There are studio and semi-private apartments, plus some single-room units, most with accessibility options like wheelchair-friendly bathrooms, kitchenettes, and some have private balconies. Springtree offers around-the-clock care and security, with skilled nurses always there when you need them and systems set up to keep residents safe and comfortable.
Daily chores like housekeeping and laundry get handled for the residents, and chef-prepared meals come out three times a day in a restaurant-style dining room where you can invite guests and get options for vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free diets. People can get a haircut or see the barber right inside the building, go to the beauty salon, use the pool and wellness center, or pick out a book in the library. There's a movie theater, organized fitness classes, arts and crafts, group trips, spiritual services for different faiths, and a screened lanai outside to enjoy some fresh air. Residents can bring pets, but there are some rules about which animals are allowed. The facility offers concierge service and free transportation, so whether someone needs a ride to the doctor or a group outing, they'll have help with that.
Springtree provides help with daily activities, like bathing, dressing, managing medicine, and meal preparation, all handled by experienced staff members who are described as helpful, patient, kind, and thorough. The memory care area is designed for people with Alzheimer's or dementia, featuring safe layouts and specialized care, while the adult day care lets seniors spend part of their day with others and join activities without staying overnight. Community spaces feel welcoming and home-like with modern furnishings, plenty of natural light, and clean, well-kept interiors, which friends and family will notice when they visit. Springtree runs a respite care service for folks needing short-term help and offers continuing care, letting seniors stay put as their needs change, instead of moving again and again.
Staff at Springtree get training, benefits, and support, including health insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and even discounted meals while they work, so the people taking care of residents tend to stick around and know who they're caring for. Prospective residents or their families can book private tours to come see the place for themselves, look at the rooms, and ask questions with the sales coordinator who's there to explain everything clearly and patiently. The focus around here is on safety, cleanliness, comfort, and supporting every resident's dignity and independence, while making sure everyone gets a chance to join activities, eat healthy food, and feel part of a warm, inviting community.
Pacifica Senior Living, a division of Pacifica Companies (family-owned since 1978), was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in San Diego, California. Operating over 90 communities across 13-14 states with concentrations in California, Florida, and Arizona, Pacifica has grown to become the 13th largest overall senior care provider in the United States. The company ranks as the 5th largest memory care provider, 10th largest assisted living provider, and 21st largest independent living provider nationally, serving thousands of residents from coast to coast through their comprehensive care offerings.
Pacifica's mission centers on creating a lifestyle of independence, security, and peace of mind for each individual and their family. The company provides personalized, compassionate care services through their signature Heartland™ Assisted Living and Legacies™ Memory Care programs, which focus on the individual while offering customized care plans that respect each resident's needs, preferences, and privacy. Their philosophy emphasizes striking a balance between assistance and independence, providing dignified and compassionate retirement experiences in environments that feel like home. Each community is managed individually, allowing for tailored support of unique resident profiles and communal character, with everything from scheduling to dining menus designed around residents' preferences.
The company's specialized memory care programs demonstrate their expertise in dementia care. Their Legacies™ Memory Care program helps patients with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of memory loss feel safe and secure while providing memory-boosting activities. The innovative Amara Memory Support program creates welcoming and empowering environments that celebrate the essence of people rather than focusing on their diagnosis. Programming encompasses nine Focus Elements of Life: Recreation, Service, Spirituality, Movement, Sensory, Household Connection, Community, Exploration, and Creative Arts, delivered through stimulating activities including gardening, culinary adventures, musical experiences, creative artistic outlets, and mindfulness practices.
Pacifica offers a comprehensive continuum of care including independent living, assisted living, memory care, respite care, skilled nursing, and adult day care services. All communities focus on promoting well-being by meeting care needs while facilitating social interactions, activities, and wellness programs. Despite recent financial challenges leading to the bankruptcy of one management entity affecting approximately 20 California facilities, the majority of Pacifica's nearly 100 communities continue operating, maintaining their commitment to advancing senior living and providing peace of mind to residents and families through warm, family-like communities where each resident receives individualized attention while maintaining dignity and independence.
