    Caring staff and excellent rehab

I had a very positive stay. The nurses, CNAs, admin and physical therapy staff were gracious, attentive and wonderful to work with; rehab care was excellent. The shared, air-conditioned room had a TV, meals were very good, volunteers led singing and games, and haircut services were available - I felt cared for and would definitely return.

    Summary of reviews

Aloha Nursing and Rehab Center elicits a generally favorable impression for its clinical and rehabilitative offerings, with clear strengths in frontline caregiving and therapy services. Reviewers commonly describe nursing staff and CNAs as compassionate and attentive, and several accounts highlight a strong physical- and occupational-therapy team that contributes to effective rehab stays. The facility's rehabilitation program and supportive relationships with external partners appear to be well-developed, supporting recovery-focused stays.

Support services and amenities are typically viewed positively. The administrative office receives praise for being helpful, and onsite conveniences such as air conditioning, in-room televisions and haircut services are noted. Dining is consistently described as very good, and activity programming — including volunteer-led singing and games — provides social engagement for residents. The building itself is characterized as clean and well-maintained, contributing to an overall comfortable environment.

Despite these strengths, reviewers also point to operational inconsistencies. There are recurring notes about delays in staff responsiveness to resident calls and occasional missed therapy sessions; this suggests variability in day-to-day service delivery and therapy scheduling reliability. Alongside those operational issues, some commenters described management and communication gaps, indicating that families may need to be proactive when seeking updates or resolving concerns.

Cost is another clear pattern: several reviews characterize the experience as expensive or first-class, which indicates a premium price point relative to services offered. Accommodation style is also a consideration; shared rooms are common, and private-room availability may be limited or come at an additional cost.

For prospective residents and families, the facility may be a good fit for those prioritizing strong hands-on nursing care, an active rehab program, and a clean, service-rich environment. It would be prudent to discuss therapy scheduling protocols, clarify expectations about response times and communication with management, and confirm room options and pricing before admission to align expectations with observed operational variability.
