    Spotless, caring memory care facility

I toured and placed my father here and I'm very pleased. The place is spotless, homey and secure; Jen/Janice, Jacob, Mary and Kristina and the rest of the staff are kind, experienced and truly go above and beyond with personalized, memory-focused activities and home-cooked meals. Administration is friendly and communicative, which gave me real peace of mind. I highly recommend this facility for memory or respite care - excellent care overall with only minor room for improvement.

    Summary of reviews

The aggregate of reviewers presents Ashley Manor Memory Care as a small, well-kept memory-care community with a strong emphasis on a home-like atmosphere and personalized attention. Families repeatedly praise the cleanliness of the facility, the pleasant common areas and the impression of a spacious, secure layout designed for residents with cognitive challenges. The environment is consistently described as welcoming and comfortable, with a homestyle dining approach and an emphasis on resident dignity.

Care quality is characterized by consistent reports of compassionate, hands-on staff who engage residents in daily activities and treat them in a family-oriented manner. Activities are described as organized and tailored to residents’ cognitive levels, suggesting a programmatic approach to stimulation and engagement appropriate for memory care. Reviewers note that staff frequently go above and beyond routine duties and that residents appear well cared for; respite-care and end-of-stay follow-ups were specifically mentioned as examples of continued family outreach.

Staff and management receive strong, specific praise. Multiple comments highlight a dedicated administrator (named in reviews) and several staff members by name, with descriptions of kind, experienced leadership and a supportive management style. The tone of the feedback points to high staff morale; at least one comment framed the community as a good place to work, which can be a positive indicator for continuity of care. Communication with families is described as open, and reviewers singled out instances of post-transition follow-up and personal outreach as a meaningful support.

Dining and activities are noted strengths: reviewers mentioned home-cooked meals and regular, organized programming that aligns with memory-care needs. The combination of a domestic dining style and tailored activity plans supports the facility’s stated focus on comfort and cognitive-appropriate engagement.

Notable patterns and caveats: the commentary is overwhelmingly positive and specific about interpersonal care and facility presentation, but it contains less detail on clinical operations. There is limited publicly available information in the reviews about nurse-to-resident ratios, medication-management processes, or on-site specialized medical services for higher-acuity needs. The favorable feedback also appears concentrated around a small leadership team; prospective families should consider how the facility manages continuity if leadership or key staff change. Finally, the apparent scarcity of critical or varied feedback in public summaries makes independent assessment harder — an in-person tour and direct questions about clinical staffing, emergency protocols, and care-plan documentation are advisable.

Overall, Ashley Manor Memory Care presents as a clean, attentive memory-care option with strong family-style culture, engaged staff, and thoughtfully designed programming. It appears well suited for families seeking a secure, comforting environment for a loved one with memory impairment; prospective residents and their families should verify clinical staffing levels, medical-service capabilities, and contingency planning during a visit to ensure the community meets specific medical and safety needs.

Residents have access to outdoor walking paths, a garden, a front porch, and patio areas where it's calmer and more secure, and pet visits are allowed, and small pets can live there too, which helps keep it feeling like home, and there are rules about no smoking indoors for everyone's comfort and safety. Other features include complimentary transportation to nearby hospitals, pharmacies, and shops-since the facility sits close to several cafes, parks, doctors' offices, and even a theater-and Wi-Fi is included, along with a library, exercise and art programs, and daily activities that encourage movement and mental engagement, and there's a hair salon on site too, all in a setting that tries to feel calm and like home, while still being ready for emergencies or changes in health. They offer respite care for short-term stays, and there's access to hospice if needed, plus professional caregivers who treat people like family, and everyone gets care shaped to their unique needs.
