Brookdale Portage is a senior living community that sits next to the Moors Golf Club and has staff on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Fountain View of Portage assisted living option helps with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, showering, and medication management, and there are caregivers available who work with each resident on a tailored care plan to match their needs and preferences.

Residents get individual apartments with large windows that let in plenty of natural light, and there are private suites with bathrooms, kitchens, closets, and living areas, plus private bedrooms with comfortable furniture and soft lighting. Pets are allowed, and the community has clean common spaces with comfortable chairs, fireplaces, and a staircase, a well-lit dining room with framed artwork, a library with bookshelves and windows, and a porch and courtyard with wicker seating, lush plants, and umbrellas for shade.

The staff can help with personal needs like grooming, and they're there to help with medication and other daily tasks. Brookdale Portage offers transportation for trips to appointments or errands, and residents don't have to worry about cooking, cleaning, or driving because those chores are handled by staff so there's more free time for relaxing or joining in activities. There's a full schedule of events and social clubs plus a salon and barber shop on site, private dining rooms for gatherings, and a sitting area with a large terrarium. The facility provides nutritious meals and has options to fit dietary needs.

The community offers more advanced care if it's needed, including nursing and restorative care, discharge planning and case management, as well as support for digestive diseases, wound care, respiratory therapies, palliative and hospice care, infusion, renal disease, cancer recovery, and post-operative rehab. There are physical, speech, and occupational therapies, as well as at-home care for those who need it. The health and safety of residents are a key focus, with programs designed to provide security and comfort.
