    Warm staff and excellent amenities

I toured for my mom and we moved her in - the staff are genuinely warm and respectful, the community is clean and beautiful, and the apartments are well laid out with full-size refrigerators and nice outdoor spaces. Meals are excellent and varied, activities (bingo, salon, library, gardening) are plentiful, laundry and therapy services are convenient, and the team communicates like family. I'm very satisfied overall and would recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

Bailey Pointe at Roxbury Park receives frequent praise for its staff culture, apartment features, dining, and social amenities, while also showing a pattern of operational inconsistencies that warrant careful review by prospective families.

Care and staff: Many families describe a warm, family-like atmosphere driven by friendly, compassionate frontline staff and attentive admissions personnel. Medication management, routine clinical coordination, and hospice involvement are cited positively in multiple accounts. At the same time, reviewers describe variability in staffing levels (notably overnight) and in responsiveness during acute events. There are also concerns about how higher-acuity needs and care transitions are handled — specifically gaps in reassessment and escalation processes — so the community may be a strong fit for independent to moderate-assistance residents but requires verification of capacity and protocols for those needing more intensive or memory-care support.

Dining and activities: The dining program is generally viewed as a strength, with varied menus, an engaged chef, and appealing meal options, plus on-site snack amenities. Social dining and routine programming (bingo, arts and crafts, gardening, library time, and a salon) support an active communal life. Several reviewers, however, requested more intellectually stimulating or higher‑level programming, indicating activity quality can be variable depending on resident interests and cognitive levels.

Facilities and services: Physical spaces are commonly described as bright, well laid-out, and clean — apartments with separate living areas, kitchenettes, and full-size refrigerators are highlighted, as are outdoor spaces including a courtyard, veranda, and gazebo. Weekly laundry service, responsive maintenance, and available physical therapy are noted positives. Conversely, intermittent cleanliness/odor concerns in some units or common areas, ongoing renovations, and occasional maintenance disruptions were reported; prospective residents should tour current-occupancy areas and ask about recent housekeeping and pest-control records.

Management and notable patterns: Reviews reflect a mixed picture of management performance. Some families praise quick problem resolution and transparent communication at move-in, while others note administrative disorganization, inconsistent follow-up, and concerns after an ownership change. Infection-control handling and communication during outbreaks have been flagged as areas needing clarification. There are also comments about restrictions on outside nursing or third-party caregivers that may affect families seeking additional private care. Cost perceptions vary: some find pricing competitive for the amenities provided, while others feel the facility becomes less good value as care needs increase.

Guidance for families: Bailey Pointe appears well suited to residents seeking a social, amenity-rich independent or assisted-living environment with compassionate staff and good dining. Before committing, families should: verify staffing ratios (including night coverage), review clinical reassessment and escalation protocols, clarify policies on outside/third-party care, tour occupied apartments and outdoor spaces to assess cleanliness and renovation impacts, and ask for recent infection-control and housekeeping records. For residents with dementia or significant behavioral needs, confirm specific programming and staff training for sundowning and memory support.

About Bailey Pointe at Roxbury Park

Bailey Pointe at Roxbury Park, also called Bailey Pointe Assisted Living at Roxbury Park, is an apartment-style senior living community for people aged 55 and up. The main focus here is on assisted living, offering help with daily tasks while giving folks enough independence to feel at home. The apartment units come in studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom layouts, with some having kitchenettes and safety-friendly bathrooms with hand railings, so moving around's easier. There's no exact list of what utilities are included, but personalized care plans and 24-hour on-call staff provide support as needed. Pets are allowed, and both male and female residents can live here. The place's got parking, garages, and is fully wheelchair accessible, but doesn't say exactly how those are set up.

You'll find a good mix of shared spaces-things like a private dining room, a coffee bar, an ice cream parlor, a library, a computer room, activity and exercise rooms, and even a dance floor for those who like to move. Chef-prepared meals are served daily, with dining options meant to be healthy and varied. Folks who want to spend time outdoors can use the shady gazebo, lush gardens, and a courtyard for relaxing or visiting with friends when the weather's nice. The staff help with housekeeping, laundry, courtesy transport, and more.

For care, there's on-call nurse support, access to doctors, dentists, podiatrists, and therapists right onsite, and personalized care for those who need help with things like bathing or dressing. Physical, occupational, and speech therapies are offered. Hospice and respite care are available for folks who need them. There are also daily, planned activities such as puzzles, arts and crafts, movies, walking clubs, exercise groups, and all kinds of special events to help people stay connected and keep busy. Spiritual services happen onsite and offsite if that's important to someone. Counseling and health care support are there, too.

The building has a craftsman-style design and is part of the Sagora Senior Living group, which works alongside the Nebraska Health Care Association. Residents can check out photos or manage needs in an online portal and can take a tour to see the place before moving in. The staff focus on creating a caring and safe environment, trying to help people enjoy retirement with both social and supportive services. There's not a lot of detail about things like fees, rental terms, or what exactly comes with the apartments, but the main idea here is helping seniors age in place, stay active, and get the care they want in a friendly, community setting. Facility ID is ALF420.
