    Well-designed apartment, friendly helpful staff

I moved into the brand-new building and love my well-designed, nicely maintained apartment and grounds. The leasing agent and staff are caring and courteous, maintenance is responsive, and the chef prepares fabulous meals. There's a lively, friendly community with daily activities, bingo, dominoes and plenty of events and amenities-I'm very pleased with my move.

    Summary of reviews

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly positive, with reviewers repeatedly praising the community's atmosphere, the quality of the accommodations, and the social life. Commenters describe the property as brand-new and well-designed, with well-maintained grounds and attractive single- and double-bedroom apartments. Many reviewers explicitly call their apartment the "best" and note that the rooms and the overall setting are very nice. The physical plant and landscaping appear to be a consistent source of satisfaction.

Dining and food service receive high marks. Multiple reviewers mention a wonderful chef and "fabulous meals," with dining-room activities occurring almost every day. The dining program is described as active and accommodating, and food quality seems to be an important strength for the community. This is reinforced by praise for daily dining events and an engaged dining-room atmosphere.

Social life and activities are another clear strength. The community is noted for having lots of events, with games like bingo and dominoes and frequent party settings. Reviewers emphasize a positive social environment, camaraderie, and a strong sense of community—residents speak of friends and neighbors and loving the social aspects. These descriptions indicate an active lifestyle offering that many residents find fulfilling and engaging.

Staff performance is a mixed but generally favorable theme. Leasing and move-in interactions are described as caring and accommodating, with a specific positive mention of a wonderful, caring leasing agent and staff who made moving in a pleasing experience. Maintenance is also highlighted as very good, and several reviewers call out kind and courteous staff members. However, there are notable caveats about staffing levels and availability that temper the overall praise.

The primary concerns center on staffing and accessibility of services. Multiple reviewers point out a small staff size and limited staff availability; one summary explicitly notes an absence of front-desk help. These comments suggest potential service gaps—especially for residents who may expect or require more on-site administrative support or immediate assistance. The long waiting list mentioned in several summaries is evidence of the community's popularity, but it also indicates that prospective residents may face delays. Finally, a few reviews caution that the community "is definitely not for everyone," implying that while many residents thrive there, its offerings, social environment, or staffing model may not meet every individual's needs.

In summary, Quail Hollow Senior Living Community is consistently praised for its modern, well-maintained physical environment, strong dining program, active social life, and welcoming community feel. Maintenance and leasing interactions are viewed positively, and residents appreciate the chef-led dining and frequent activities. The main drawbacks to weigh are smaller staff levels and limited front-desk availability, which could affect responsiveness and the ability to meet higher-care or more hands-on service expectations. Prospective residents should balance the clear strengths in lifestyle and amenities against these staffing and fit considerations to decide if the community matches their personal needs and expectations.

About Quail Hollow Senior Living Community

Quail Hollow Senior Living Community sits in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, on 39 acres in a private valley, with a design that looks much like an old New England village, and it offers a wide mix of care so people can move in when they're active and stay even if their needs change later. Folks aged 55 and up can pick from one or two-bedroom apartments, all with open floor plans, kitchens set up with GE appliances like a 4-burner stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher, and some apartments have extra features like breakfast bars, and you get heat included in the rent, but air conditioning comes with an extra fee, and there's carpet or laminate floors, big living spaces, wide closets, and roomy bathrooms, all on multiple levels with elevators and easy entrances for those who need them. There are three buildings-River House, Wilder House, and Ridge-with a total of 232 apartments, plus 50 cottages, and the community keeps things maintenance-free, so people can focus on what they like without worrying about yard work or repairs, and each building has its own gas grills ready to use when the weather's nice, as well as garden plots free to residents if you want to grow something.

Residents can choose from assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, independent living, respite care, and even home care, all run by the same community, so it's possible to age in place as medical or memory needs come up, and there's a range of support, like help with daily tasks, medication, meals, plus special memory care programs with safe, secure spaces and activities built for people living with Alzheimer's or other kinds of dementia, where they get 24-hour support and programs to help keep their memory skills. Skilled nursing means round-the-clock medical care, wound care, and rehab therapy all right there, so folks with complex health issues don't have to move far, and the board and care homes offer a smaller, homey option as well.

Quail Hollow hosts regular activities like parties, classes, and speakers, and has things like a tavern, an art studio and galleries, a salon, a yoga studio, a fitness and exercise center, a library, and a movie theater, so residents have plenty to do, and you'll often find people in the lounges, porches, or community rooms, maybe near a gas fireplace doing puzzles or playing games, or out in the gardens, and monthly parties or social events give people a chance to meet others. They offer optional daily meals, and social activities for anyone who wants to join, along with independent living support services that residents can add if their needs go up. There's storage lockers and shared laundry on each floor, and you'll find covered parking, including heated garages for a bit extra, while off-street parking is available, too; controlled access, night patrol, and 24-hour maintenance offer peace of mind, and the whole place is smoke-free and doesn't allow cats or dogs.

Quail Hollow sits inside the Lebanon School District, and though there's no pets allowed, it's good for folks who want green lawns, walking paths, and garden space outside, with community gardens ready for anyone who likes to dig in the dirt, and indoor features like high-speed internet, cable hookups, storage, and open interior views of the nearby trees. With weekly community events, fitness classes, socials, and expert help on long-term care needs or insurance, folks get both an active community and guidance as they plan for the future, and tours happen every Wednesday at 12:30 at the River House if someone wants a closer look before deciding, and Quail Hollow carries an average 4.4-star rating based on 17 reviews, showing a fair bit of satisfaction from current or past residents, and with apartments and cottages, plus choices for nearly every care level, it tries to help seniors stay independent as long as possible, without losing the support they may need along the way.
