    Caring clean home attentive staff

I recommend Everest. Patty, the owner, is caring, organized and hands-on, and the staff truly dote on residents. The house is beautiful, clean and homey with spacious, safety-focused rooms, a nice backyard and an active activities program. Meals are freshly prepared and nutritious (homemade cookies included), communication and regular updates are excellent, and there's 24-hour supervision and nursing. My loved one has been warmly welcomed and well cared for.

    Summary of reviews

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly positive, with repeated emphasis on compassionate individualized care, a home-like environment, and strong leadership. Multiple reviewers highlight Everest Assisted Living as a clean, inviting, and well-maintained large house where residents receive attentive one-on-one support. The facility is repeatedly described as having a warm, familial feel — staff "dote on residents," visitors felt warmly welcomed, and the overall atmosphere is cordial and comfortable.

Care quality and clinical oversight are among the most frequently praised aspects. Reviewers note 24-hour supervision and nursing care, with explicit trust expressed when hospice care was involved. Many comments single out the attentiveness and conscientiousness of staff, and several reviews emphasize that residents receive individualized attention and safety-minded room setups. While the majority of feedback about nursing is positive, a recurring caution is that some younger nurses were described as inexperienced; this suggests occasional variability in clinical experience among staff, though it does not appear to be a dominant concern compared with the overall high marks for care.

Management and communication are strong themes. The owner/director (Patty) receives repeated praise for being hands-on, kind, organized, and communicative. Reviewers specifically note routine updates to families and to healthcare providers, which fosters trust and reassures families — particularly important for residents with complex needs or on hospice. Tour experiences are described positively, with knowledgeable guides and an energetic director helping create a favorable first impression.

Facility features and amenities are commonly noted as strengths. Reviewers appreciate the ample space, a nice kitchen area, a pleasant backyard/outdoor space, and on-site exercise equipment that supports resident activity. The home-like décor and furnishing options (room furnishing choices) add to the sense of personalization. Cleanliness and inviting common areas are mentioned repeatedly, reinforcing the impression of a well-kept environment.

Dining and activities receive consistent positive comments. Meals are described as homemade, nutritious, and freshly prepared, with specific mention of quality ingredients (for example, homemade cookies). An activities calendar and an involved activity director indicate that there are structured social and recreational offerings, contributing to residents’ quality of life.

The primary concerns raised are financial and occasional staffing experience gaps. At least one reviewer labeled the facility as cost prohibitive, indicating that pricing may be a barrier for some families. Additionally, a few reviewers noted younger nurses with limited experience — this points to potential variability in staff clinical experience rather than a systemic staffing problem, but it is worth families clarifying nursing staff composition during tours.

In summary, Everest Assisted Living is consistently portrayed as a compassionate, well-managed, and home-like assisted living option with strong family communication, nutritious homemade meals, meaningful activities, and a safe, clean environment. The owner and leadership are visible and engaged, and the staff are described as caring and attentive. Families considering Everest should weigh the high quality of personalized care and environment against the potential higher cost and ask specific questions about nursing staff experience during their visit to ensure the best fit for their needs.

    About Everest Assisted Living

Everest Assisted Living sits in a calm neighborhood and offers a newly renovated, comfortable home for seniors, with five furnished bedrooms that come with cable TV and high ceilings, two large ADA bathrooms, and a big living room full of light from floor-to-ceiling windows and skylights, which makes everything feel open and cheerful while the scenic backyard gives residents a nice spot to enjoy some quiet time or fresh air. The kitchen staff makes three homemade meals every day with choices like eggs, fruits, salads, soups, grilled chicken, meat, fish, potatoes, rice, and fresh vegetables, plus healthy snacks, so residents can eat well and pick what they like best. Every private apartment and common area has emergency pull cords that link straight to the management team at all hours, so residents who've got needs-whether it's a health worry or just some regular support-can always reach someone quickly. There are weekly housekeeping services, transportation, and a full range of activities, from cognitive games and gardening to chair exercises and music, so residents who want to stay active and keep their minds sharp have plenty to do. This place handles different types of care, including assisted living, independent living, memory care for people with Alzheimer's or other dementia, home care, and short-term respite stays, and there's always an experienced team available, with a doctor on call and a high staff-to-resident ratio-usually one caregiver for five people. The aides are specially trained to help those with memory loss and to stop problems like wandering or aggression, making it a safe spot for people who need more attention. Family members and health providers get regular updates about how their loved ones are doing. Everything in the house feels clean and friendly, with staff who treat residents with respect and care, and everyone works together to make a place where seniors can live happily, get the right support for their needs, and still enjoy dignity and a bit of independence.
