    Clean facility, loving attentive care

I'm very pleased with the clean facility and loving, attentive staff. Manager Lisa and the respectful owner treat my family member like their own - care is excellent and they deserve far more recognition. I highly recommend them, with only a few minor areas for improvement.

    About L&C Family Care Home

L&C Family Care Home sits in a quiet residential neighborhood in Grifton, North Carolina, and has a long-standing focus on creating a comfortable and supportive place for seniors, and with only six licensed beds, folks find a more personal, peaceful setting where daily needs get careful attention. The staff uses a family-like approach, offering help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, meals, housekeeping, and medication management, while working to give each resident a plan that fits their health, interests, and comfort. The home has both private and semi-private rooms, and common areas where residents can relax, watch television, or enjoy meals together, and those who like to go outside will find gardens and safe outdoor spaces for walks or quiet time.

L&C Family Care Home supports older adults who want long-term help in a place that feels more like a house than a large facility, and they provide care for folks at different stages of aging, including specialized memory care for those living with Alzheimer's or dementia, which means there are secure environments, 24-hour oversight, special programs, and memory-focused activities to help everyone stay engaged and active. Besides regular personal care, the care team includes skilled nursing and works with outside medical professionals who visit when needed, and daily life keeps each person in mind through activities, meals, and moments meant to support physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Families get peace of mind knowing their loved ones have round-the-clock help, and when home caregivers need a break, respite care is also an option for short-term stays. With the house equipped for comfort-offering kitchenettes, cable, Wi-Fi, beauty salon services, linens, and housekeeping-residents can settle into routines that match what they're used to, with respect and empathy forming the foundation of care. L&C Family Care Home follows North Carolina licensing and focuses on providing long-term, non-acute support in a setting that's homelike, steady, and grounded in daily life.
