    Beautifully remodeled school, comfortable apartments

I was impressed - they brilliantly remodeled the school I graduated from into a beautifully decorated, brand-new-feeling senior community. The massive, extremely comfortable apartments, large dining room, salon, soda parlor and bar, lively resident entertainment led by a fantastic activities director, and compassionate staff who truly care for residents give me real peace of mind and make this easy to recommend.

    Summary of reviews

Overall sentiment Reviews of 1907 Assisted Living at Central School are overwhelmingly positive. Multiple reviewers use emphatic adjectives — phenomenal, amazing, marvelous, fantastic — and several explicitly state they would highly recommend the community. The strongest themes across summaries are pride in the renovation of the historic school building, high marks for physical amenities and living spaces, and consistent praise for compassionate resident care and programming.

Facilities, design and living spaces A dominant thread in the reviews is the facility’s physical transformation and appearance. Reviewers repeatedly describe the property as beautifully decorated and brilliantly remodeled, noting that the community occupies a former school that has undergone an impressive renovation. Living units are characterized as large or massive with extremely comfortable living spaces. Common areas and amenity spaces also receive attention: a large dining area, an on-site salon, a soda parlor, a bar, and multiple venues for resident entertainment are all specifically cited. Several reviews refer to the facility as brand new or modern as a result of the renovation, and at least one reviewer spoke from the perspective of an alumnus of the original school who was impressed with the renovation work.

Care quality and staff Reviews consistently highlight compassionate care. Phrases such as "care and love for residents," "well taken care of," and "peace of mind" indicate that reviewers perceive staff as attentive and emotionally invested in residents’ well-being. While the summaries do not provide granular details about clinical care or specific staff roles, the repeated emphasis on compassion and peace of mind suggests family members or observers feel comfortable leaving loved ones there and trust the team to provide everyday support.

Activities, programming and social life Activity programming and social opportunities are another strong positive. Reviewers specifically praise resident entertainment and call out the activities director as "fantastic." The presence of social amenities (soda parlor, bar, entertainment venues) paired with an active activities program suggests a focus on engagement and quality-of-life programming that reviewers find noteworthy. Multiple comments that the community has "lots to offer seniors" reinforce that programming and amenities are seen as robust.

Management, impression and patterns Although few reviews discuss management directly, the consistent, favorable comments about the renovation, upkeep, and amenity mix imply attentive leadership and investment in the property. The fact that so many reviewers independently highlight the building’s look, the spacious apartments, and the compassionate atmosphere points to a coordinated emphasis on both form (design/renovation) and function (care/activities). Notably, no negative aspects or recurring concerns appear in the provided summaries; the reviews present a uniformly positive picture.

Conclusion and notable takeaways In summary, reviewers portray 1907 Assisted Living at Central School as an attractively remodeled, amenity-rich assisted living community with spacious, comfortable apartments and a strong resident-focused culture. Key selling points are the quality of the renovation of the historic school, the breadth of amenities (dining, salon, soda parlor, bar), compassionate care that gives families peace of mind, and active programming led by a well-regarded activities director. Across these summaries there are no reported negatives or specific concerns, and multiple writers explicitly recommend the community. Based on the supplied reviews, 1907 Assisted Living at Central School presents as a highly regarded option for seniors seeking a well-appointed, socially engaging assisted living environment.
