    Attentive staff, clean facility, recommended

I had a very good stay - attentive, knowledgeable and caring staff (nurses, STNAs, therapists and housekeeping), a clean, home-like facility, smooth admission, and social worker Haley was especially helpful; I'd recommend their patient-centered rehab and memory-care team.

    Summary of reviews

The reviews present a polarized picture of care at this facility. On one hand, multiple accounts describe friendly, knowledgeable, and caring staff, a clean and welcoming interior, an available memory-care unit, and positive management or workplace morale. Several families reported satisfying stays and would recommend the facility, citing attentive aides and staff who provided good daily support.

On the other hand, a set of operationally significant concerns recurs across reviews. Medication-management practices are described as inconsistent โ€” examples include medications not being administered as scheduled, prescriptions not being called in, and lost medications โ€” which has led in some accounts to clinical escalation and hospital transfers. Call-response times and general responsiveness to resident needs are reported as slow or unreliable, and there are recurring descriptions of delays in attending to incontinence care and personal hygiene needs. Reviewers also described gaps in fall-prevention and wound-care follow-up, including missing bed rails and delayed clinical attention after incidents.

Dining and nutrition emerged as a notable area of inconsistent performance. Complaints include meals that were unsuitable for dietary restrictions (for example, diabetic needs) or for residents with chewing limitations, food-handling issues where labeled items were discarded, and a lack of reliable nourishment for some residents. Personal-property management and laundry processes were also flagged: clothing misplaced or returned to other residents and missing items were described.

Administrative and communication issues appear frequently in the reviews. Families reported difficulties obtaining accurate therapy documentation, missed paperwork and insurance coordination deadlines, billing disputes, and examples of poor communication tone from certain administrators. There is at least one allegation of discriminatory conduct; overall, these reports describe uneven transparency and inconsistent family-staff communication. Staffing levels and competence are depicted as variable: some accounts praise engaged employees and strong team morale, while others call out insufficient staffing, low engagement from some caregivers, and uneven clinical skill among nursing staff.

Facility condition and safety received mixed comments. Several reviewers praised cleanliness and upkeep, while others noted maintenance and sanitation concerns and described the physical environment as dated in places. Emergency-preparedness and clinical escalation practices raised questions for some families, including readiness for urgent events and clarity around CPR/emergency procedures.

In summary, the facility elicits sharply contrasting experiences. Prospective residents and families may encounter strong, compassionate care and a well-run memory-care unit, but there are repeated operational themes โ€” medication processes, timely personal-care responses, dietary accommodations, property management, documentation transparency, and variable staffing โ€” that warrant careful inquiry. When evaluating this facility, families may want to inquire specifically about medication administration protocols, call-response metrics, dietary and texture-modified meal plans, property-tracking procedures, fall-prevention measures, emergency-response procedures, and how therapy and billing documentation are communicated and verified.
