    Excellent care and comfortable living

I've been at Sea Aire a year and a half and am very pleased. The staff and management are kind, attentive and devoted, communication is helpful, and the quality of care is excellent. The grounds and courtyard are beautiful and accessible, there are always activities and good meal choices in a pleasant communal dining area, and rooms are comfortable and well-equipped (my one-bedroom has a separate living area and handicap bathroom). It's extremely clean, family-owned, and gives me real peace of mind - I highly recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

Sea Aire Assisted Living is frequently described as a clean, well-kept community with attractive, accessible outdoor spaces and a single-level layout that supports resident mobility. Private one-bedroom units are noted for having separate living areas and accessible bathrooms; many rooms come partially furnished with a refrigerator and microwave. The property’s courtyard and gardens are highlighted as a strong asset for residents and families seeking outdoor amenity space.

Care quality and staff interactions are generally portrayed positively. Families and residents characterize caregiving staff as attentive, kind, and devoted; many reviewers cited helpful, informative employees and expressed peace of mind about daily care. The community is family-owned, and that ownership culture appears to contribute to a personalized approach to resident communication and a sense of continuity in management and caregiving.

Dining and activity programming are other consistent strengths. Reviewers describe communal dining with choices at every meal and an organized dining area, alongside a wide variety of daily activities and events that support social engagement. In-room emergency call systems are present and noted as a safety feature that complements the staff’s attentiveness.

Operational and administrative issues are the clearest patterns of concern. Several reviewers described an outdated billing and payment process — including limited or no electronic/card payment options, lack of clear invoicing for extras, and difficulty obtaining written copies of bills. These payment-system limitations are coupled with examples of slow administrative follow-up, which families found frustrating when trying to resolve billing or other questions.

There are also service-level gaps to consider. The facility does not have an on-site physician, which may require families to confirm how clinical oversight and physician visits are arranged. A small but notable cluster of comments raised privacy and security concerns related to staff handling residents’ personal belongings and noted occasional language or communication barriers with some employees, which can complicate care discussions or family communication.

Finally, practical considerations include cost and accessibility of information. Several reviewers found the monthly fee to be high relative to their budgets, and availability is limited at times. Some prospective families also cited difficulty finding up-to-date online information about the community, which can impede initial research. Overall, Sea Aire appears to offer a compassionate, activity-rich environment with strong housekeeping and outdoor amenities, while families should proactively evaluate administrative processes, communication practices, and clinical coverage to ensure they meet individual needs.
