    Resident, clean, safe, caring community

I live here and I'm very pleased - the facility is clean and safe, staff and support teams are caring and reliable and help with ADLs and medications. The community is social with a pleasant dining hall, outdoor courtyard, pet-friendly policy (vaccination required), and twice-weekly multi-faith services.

    About Sun Valley Acres

Sun Valley Acres sits in Glen Campbell, PA, and serves seniors with many different care needs, so you'll find services like ambulatory care, diabetic care with specially trained staff, memory care, home care, hospice, and skilled nursing all in the same medium-sized place with about 30 licensed beds, and there are both private suites, shared rooms, and studio-style layouts, with private bathrooms and kitchenettes for those who want them, all fully furnished so folks don't have to worry about moving heavy furniture or buying things new, and they have independent living options for seniors who still want some freedom but could use a bit of daily help. Residents can bring their pets as long as the animals are up to date on shots and have seen the vet, which helps some folks feel more at home, and everyone has access to 24-hour supervision, a call system to reach staff, medication management, help with personal care or daily needs, and on-site nurses or clinical staff if something comes up. Sun Valley Acres has a dining hall that hosts activities at least twice a week, and there's an outdoor courtyard where people can get fresh air, relax, or chat with neighbors, and you'll also find on-site activities every week to keep people busy and encourage socializing, plus religious services and devotional gatherings often held off-site for various faiths, at least a couple times a week if someone wants spiritual engagement. Meals use organic ingredients through a Food Program (CACFP), and the kitchen staff manage meal prep, so you won't find residents needing to cook or worry about food, and the staff handle housekeeping, linen service, and maintenance, so everyone can focus on other things. For getting around, transportation services can help residents visit doctors or explore the local area, arranging rides as needed, and the building has central air, cable TV, internet, and telephone access, making life a bit more comfortable. There's a range of care, from long-term non-acute support to home health care and adult day services, along with unique programs like My Adult Foster Care, My Adult Home Care, My Senior Care Hub, and My Adult Behavior. Staff work Monday to Saturday and are off Sundays, and they use electronic visit tracking and care management systems to keep things organized. Local or statewide agencies often survey and check the facility, like the Department of Aging or Veteran's Services, and Sun Valley Acres offers care for many stages of senior living, with a focus on helping people stay engaged, comfortable, and well cared for just as they age, though the official profile leaves out some smaller details and isn't certified for Medicare unless specifically noted.
