    Welcoming, attentive staff and care

I moved my dad here and I'm very satisfied - the staff are welcoming, attentive, and communicate well. The facility is clean, homey, and accessible with a lovely courtyard, excellent meals, many daily activities, and on-site medical/therapy support. My dad seems happy and well cared for with dignity; I would recommend this place.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Celebration Villa of Lebanon PA presents as a well-kept, activity-oriented assisted living community with many strengths in family engagement, dining, and a welcoming atmosphere. Reviewers commonly highlight compassionate caregiving, clear admissions processes, prompt hospital-to-move-in transitions, and active programming that includes family nights, offsite trips, and spiritual services. The facility’s layout, secure courtyards, pet-friendly policy, and bright lobby areas are frequently cited as contributors to a home-like environment.

Care and staffing: Care quality is characterized by attentive, team-oriented staff and accessible on-site medical and therapy services. Families described attentive nursing, strong communication with leadership, and successful transitions from hospital settings. At the same time, there is a persistent pattern of operational staffing issues: inconsistent staffing levels, high turnover (including some leadership roles), and resulting gaps in readiness for personal care tasks. These staffing patterns have been associated in reviews with delayed assistance for bathing and eating, inconsistent wound and medication follow-up in some cases, and variability in response times. Prospective families should ask about current staffing ratios, weekend coverage, and medication-administration protocols.

Dining and activities: Dining is generally seen as a strength — reviewers note varied, high-quality meals and an engaged Dining Director — but there are intermittent reports of meal delays and inconsistent meal assistance when staffing is thin. Activities are robust and family-inclusive, ranging from crafts and musical entertainment to offsite shopping and social outings; these programs are a strong contributor to resident morale. Some reviewers, however, indicated that activity accessibility can be limited for residents with higher care needs or mobility challenges, and there are expressed concerns about how residents with dementia are integrated with the general population.

Facilities and environment: The building is described as clean, well-maintained, and pleasant, with features such as a gas-fireplace lobby, secure courtyards, koi pond landscaping, and some freshly updated rooms. The circular, one-level layout aids navigation for residents. Counterbalancing these positives, parts of the facility are older with smaller rooms and fewer windows, leading to less natural light in some wings. Ongoing construction or renovation has been mentioned as a temporary disruption to common areas and dining flow.

Management and notable patterns: Admissions and sales interactions are frequently described as clear and thorough, with staff able to expedite move-ins and address questions. Families praised individual leaders and the admissions team for responsive outreach. Conversely, a subset of reviews raises concerns about workplace culture and staff conduct, including allegations of poor leadership tone and internal discord; these accounts, alongside reports of high turnover, suggest prospective families should inquire about current management stability and staff retention initiatives. Financial transparency is another recurring concern — several reviewers cited undisclosed or unclear fees — so asking for a full itemized contract and clarification of add-on charges is advisable. Finally, phone responsiveness and some aspects of ongoing communication have been inconsistent in certain accounts.

Bottom line: Celebration Villa of Lebanon PA offers many features attractive to families seeking an active, community-oriented assisted living option — notably solid dining, engaging programming, on-site clinical services, and a welcoming atmosphere. Prospective residents and families should evaluate current staffing levels, medication and personal-care protocols, dementia-placement practices, and billing transparency during visits to ensure the community’s operational realities match expectations.

About Celebration Villa of Lebanon PA

Celebration Villa of Lebanon PA sits on one story and offers a simple layout that's easy to move around, with bright LED lighting, natural sunlight, and handrails along the walls so folks who have trouble getting around or remembering things can do so with a little more comfort and safety. All the outside doors lock for security, and you'll find an emergency pull cord in every apartment, just in case. There's a full sprinkler system covering the whole building for fire safety, too. Apartments have private bathrooms with walk-in showers, spacious closets, and a neutral coat of paint. You'll see maintenance-free studio or deluxe units, each with its own HVAC system. Some apartments open to a lush courtyard, a roomy backyard, and a safe outdoor area with garden beds for memory care residents.

You'll see a main living area with a big TV and theater-style seating for movie nights, a cozy fireplace under a tall skylight, and three different lounges where folks read, do puzzles, play cards, or visit with guests. There's an activity area, where residents join exercise groups, play BINGO, make crafts, or play Bocce Ball. The community hosts all sorts of events, from ribbon cuttings and grand re-openings to themed days like the Egg-Stra Savings Event, Winter Snow Day, and Autumn Harvest. Residents can also join outings to local places-shopping, restaurants, live music, family night, karaoke, arts and crafts, trivia, or just a walk.

Healthcare workers stay on-site around the clock, and a licensed Health Care Director stays on call day and night. Residents can get help with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and hygiene, with care plans designed for each person. Enhanced Personal Care, respite stays for short-term help, hospice coordination, and even skilled nursing services are available according to each person's needs. Executive Director Tanya Todaro and the staff aim to know residents well, treating everyone like family and supporting independence where possible. Personal care services, memory care support, and even help for folks planning ahead with tax deductions, Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, and veterans benefits is on hand. There's a focus here on affordable options and resources to help with care planning.

Meals are served in the dining area, and residents sometimes help decide what gets cooked. Laundry comes complimentary, housekeeping and maintenance are handled, and there's a barber and beauty shop right in the building for a small fee. The robust Life Enrichment Program includes daily activities, holiday gifts, and special events. The Residents Appreciation Program hands out holiday gifts, while transportation in the community van is offered twice a week for medical appointments and errands around town. Celebration Villa of Lebanon PA allows folks to engage with health seminars, open houses, and other community-wide events. For those that like to stay busy, there's always something scheduled, from puzzles and exercise to community days and outings, with a website where residents and families check for news and events. The community is managed by Priority Life Care, and it's structured for folks to age in place, supporting independent living, assisted living, memory care, and even skilled nursing, all on one campus, but always focusing on keeping life maintenance-free, independent, and meaningful in a warm, familiar setting.
