    Compassionate, attentive rehab and care

I placed my loved one here and I'm very pleased - the rehab team was productive and Ms. Carmella truly made a difference. Staff are compassionate, attentive, and hardworking; nurses and CNAs delivered excellent, personalized care and were quick to address concerns. Rooms and common areas are exceptionally clean and welcoming, meals are delicious with great dining options, and activities (crafts, concerts, Bingo) keep residents engaged. I feel my family member is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: The facility is frequently described as offering high-quality long-term care with particular strengths in hands-on nursing, CNA support, and rehabilitation services. Many accounts emphasize attentive, compassionate caregiving and skilled PT/OT programs that support productive short-term rehab stays. The interior spaces and resident rooms are consistently characterized as clean and welcoming, and the facility maintains an active calendar of activities that includes bingo, crafts, concerts, and prayer services.

Care and staff: Clinical care and frontline staff receive the most positive attention. Reviewers praise caring nurses and CNAs, noting responsiveness and emotional support for residents and families. At the same time, there are recurring concerns about inconsistent professionalism and attitude among some staff members, and multiple comments point to staffing shortages that can affect direct care availability and overnight coverage. These patterns suggest that while the facility has strong caregivers and leadership in place, staffing stability and uniform conduct standards are areas that require ongoing attention.

Dining and activities: Dining is a visible strength for many families — menus are described as extensive, personalized, and sometimes available for take-out; several reviewers reported good-to-excellent meals. A minority of comments cite variable meal quality or menu choices that may be calorie-dense for some residents, which points to a need for clearer dietary customization for residents with weight or nutrition goals. The activities program is active and diverse, contributing to a social, engaging environment for residents.

Facilities and logistics: The interior is frequently described as modern and well-maintained, though the building exterior is older, which creates a contrast between curb appeal and interior condition. Parking and entry logistics are generally viewed positively. On the administrative side, many families praise responsive, detail-oriented managers, but there are notable operational concerns: inconsistent admissions and discharge handling (including rescinded admissions and delayed discharges in a few accounts) and unclear pricing information for private pay versus Medicaid. One serious claim involved discriminatory conduct during admissions; such an allegation merits careful review by prospective families and by the facility.

Patterns and considerations for prospective families: The dominant pattern is positive clinical care and rehabilitation capability combined with operational inconsistencies. Prospective residents and families should weigh the facility’s strong rehab and day-to-day caregiving against potential variability in staff professionalism and occasional process issues in admissions, discharge, and billing transparency. For prospective admissions, specific recommendations include confirming staffing levels for the intended unit and shift, requesting written pricing and Medicaid guidance, and discussing dietary needs in detail with dietary staff. Visiting in person to assess staff interactions and observe routines can help determine whether the facility’s strengths align with an individual’s priorities.
