    Clean, caring facility and staff

My dad lived at Prestige and we were very pleased - friendly, professional staff who drug-screen and pass thorough background checks, LPNs administer meds, and the team truly goes above and beyond. The facility is clean and well-kept with hot, fresh meals, lots of activities (bingo, pool table, outdoor seating), 24-hour care, and a family-like atmosphere; my dad loved it and I'm grateful.

    Summary of reviews

Reviews of Prestige Assisted Living present a mixed picture with distinct strengths and recurring operational concerns. Many families and residents praise the interpersonal side of care: staff are frequently described as respectful, attentive, and team-oriented, and several accounts highlight employees who go beyond basic duties. The activity program is a consistent positive element — bingo is popular, there are indoor recreation options such as a pool table, and an engaged activity director is often singled out. The facility also receives positive notes for family-style atmosphere, outdoor seating, and 24/7 laundry services, while licensed practical nurses are noted as the primary medication administrators.

Dining and daily living services receive generally favorable comments about hot, well-portioned meals and accommodating staff for special needs. At the same time, there are recurring notes about intermittent meal-service interruptions and locked kitchen access that have prevented hot dinner service on occasion. Housekeeping and sanitation present a split impression: some families describe a clean, well-maintained environment, while others describe cleanliness issues in both rooms and common areas and inconsistencies in room cleaning schedules.

Facility upkeep and safety emerge as important areas of concern. Reports include deferred maintenance items (for example, broken room equipment and moisture/mold issues) and grounds maintenance lapses. More significantly, reviewers raised questions about policy enforcement and environmental security — examples cited include inadequate perimeter controls, smoking-policy enforcement problems, and instances that reviewers felt reflected weak safety practices. There is at least one mention of a serious safety incident with a resident fatality; that individual account highlights potential gaps in emergency response and supervision and underscores the importance of reviewing the facility's incident history and response protocols.

Staffing and clinical oversight are another area of divergence. While many reviewers express confidence in caring staff and note thorough employee screening, others recount inconsistent staffing levels (including night-shift responsiveness concerns), RAs performing duties typically assigned to certified nursing assistants, and variable professionalism and communication. The platform of medication administration by LPNs is a consistent operational characteristic; however, some reviewers inferred limited RN-level oversight and gaps in clinical incident response.

Management and administration receive mixed feedback as well. Some families commend the owner and local management, while others link a perceived decline in quality to changes in ownership or leadership. Financial and accountability issues appear in several comments, including billing disputes and at least one allegation of staff theft; these raise the importance of verifying financial controls and reporting processes during a tour.

For prospective residents and families: the facility shows clear strengths in social programming, meal quality (in many accounts), and caring, engaged staff. At the same time, the pattern of concerns about housekeeping consistency, maintenance, safety protocols, staffing continuity, and administrative controls warrants careful inquiry. Recommended next steps before a placement include an in-person tour at varied times (including evenings and weekends), direct questions about staffing ratios and RN availability, review of recent inspection and incident records, clarification of housekeeping and maintenance schedules, verification of security and smoking-policy enforcement, and written explanations of billing and grievance procedures.

    About Prestige Assisted Living

Prestige Assisted Living sits in Loudon, TN, and takes in folks who need different levels of care like assisted living, memory care, and independent living, offering daily help like bathing, dressing, and managing medication, and also handling diabetic, incontinence, and non-ambulatory care for folks with more health needs, and you'll see their staff around all day and night, always ready with a 24-hour call system if anything pops up or anybody needs a hand. They've got a variety of room types, like studios, one or two bedrooms, and even semi-private choices, each with its own bathroom and a handy kitchenette, along with comforts like air conditioning, cable TV, and Wi-Fi, so people can enjoy their days how they like, and their pet-friendly policy means you can bring along your cat or dog or even get help with pet sitting if needed. Every day, you'll see folks joining community dining with restaurant-style service, where professional chefs fix up balanced meals, and if somebody needs a special diet because of diabetes or allergies, they can get those too, and if anybody wants to eat on a different schedule, there are options for that as well, so nobody needs to worry about having something to eat. They do housekeeping, laundry, and dry cleaning service so people don't have to handle those on their own, and the staff helps with daily activities, moves to and from wheelchairs or beds, and anything else that comes up, and for those who need a short stay or a place after a hospital visit, they offer respite and hospice care, while also handling move-in for new residents. Prestige Assisted Living has its own program directors running plenty of social, physical, and mental activities in common areas like an arts room, music room, theater, business room, and a game room, as well as movie nights, fitness programs, and walks on their paths and gardens, so people can join in as much or as little as they wish, with a community garden for folks who like digging in the dirt. Residents can take part in devotional services right on-site and join in field trips, local outings, and excursions because there's transportation for appointments and errands too, so everyday life isn't just about staying in one spot. Amenities like a spa, wellness room, beauty salon, library, outdoor common spaces, and indoor social spots bring a sense of home and comfort, with some services available like move-in help, a concierge, and help from housekeepers to keep things tidy. Families get support too, and there are many ways for people to feel connected and safe, since regular health inspections, a caregiver-to-senior ratio, and emergency alerts are always in place, and people pay fees depending on the level of care they need, with several payment options accepted, including private and insurance types. The community welcomes seniors who meet a minimum age and focuses on letting folks stay as independent as possible, with care plans drawn up for each resident and extra help always there for those who need it, so every day can feel peaceful, active, and catered to the needs and lifestyle of the people who live there.
