    Compassionate staff and welcoming facility

I placed my mother in this smaller, modern facility and am very satisfied - Cindy and the compassionate, patient staff treated her like family and were attentive and communicative. The airy, well-sized apartment with a private bath, clean dining area, relaxing patio, healthy meals (they even did an amazing birthday dinner), memory-support programs, and 24/7 caregiver coverage (hospice/Medicare handled when needed) gave us real peace of mind. Close to home with a welcoming, home-like atmosphere, the team goes out of their way; I recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Reviews emphasize a strong, resident-centered culture at Magnolia Place, with frequent praise for the caregiving team, the physical environment, and the program offerings. Families describe the facility as home-like and well-decorated, with clean, modern common areas and spacious private apartments that include individual bathrooms. The community is characterized as smaller and more intimate, which multiple reviewers said contributes to a personalized care experience and close staff–family relationships.

Care quality and staff: The dominant theme across reviews is positive: staff are described as kind, patient, communicative, and willing to go beyond baseline expectations. Caregivers are credited with attentive, family-like approaches and accommodation of individual limitations. Reviewers noted reliable medication timing and the presence of staff on weekends, and some described positive end-of-life and hospice support covered by Medicare. These comments suggest consistent strengths in day-to-day caregiving, resident supervision, and family communication in many cases.

Dining and activities: Dining is frequently noted as a highlight — the dining area is described as clean and inviting, meals as healthy and well-presented, and special events (for example, birthday meals and decorated occasions) receive specific praise. The community appears to offer structured social and spiritual programming, including church services, and active memory-support and stimulation activities that support socialization and engagement for residents.

Facilities and amenities: The physical plant is described as modern, clean, and attractively decorated. Reviewers cite large, airy rooms, well-sized apartments, and a relaxing outdoor patio as positive features that contribute to resident comfort and quality of life. The smaller scale of the community is framed positively by families who prioritized a quieter, more intimate setting.

Management and notable patterns: While most feedback is positive, there is at least one serious allegation concerning medication administration and subsequent concealment by administration. This raises potential concerns about medication-management controls and incident transparency. Given the seriousness of that claim, prospective residents and families should ask management about formal medication-administration protocols, documentation practices, staff training on medication safety, and the facility's incident-reporting and escalation procedures. Requesting recent inspection results, medication-auditing procedures, and examples of how resident-safety concerns are handled can clarify whether this was an isolated issue or indicative of a process gap.

Practical takeaways: Magnolia Place appears to offer compassionate, personalized care in a clean, well-appointed setting with active programming and reliable dining and hospice support. To ensure alignment with a prospective resident's needs, families should verify clinical oversight elements — especially medication-safety protocols and incident-reporting practices — during tours and conversations with leadership. This will help confirm the operational consistency behind the many positive caregiver and environment attributes noted by reviewers.

    About Magnolia Place

Magnolia Place sits in a quiet spot and welcomes folks looking for assisted living, memory care, or continuing care, and you can always count on 24/7 caregiver availability and an emergency alert system for peace of mind. The facility has a smaller, homelike feel where residents and families come together, and the staff, like the LPN, Director of Nursing, Activities Coordinator, and Dietary Manager, all work with care, and even Harry the Cat is there to keep everyone company. Residents have help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, transfers, and medication management, with services for people using wheelchairs or needing diabetic and incontinence care, and they can rest easy knowing supervision is available around the clock. Rooms come in studio layouts with private baths that you can decorate, all furnished to be comfortable but focused on making sure you have privacy and independence if you want it, and every room has a telephone. The community offers meal preparation with an on-site chef, a dining room for everyone to eat together, and options for special diets, including diabetes-friendly choices served restaurant-style. Housekeeping, laundry, and even dry cleaning are handled for you, and the facility provides transportation and parking for outings. You'll find walking paths, a garden, an arts room, and a fully equipped beauty salon and spa room, which are nice for relaxing or socializing, and you can always get a haircut or enjoy a calm spot on the grounds. Magnolia Place encourages community activities like movie nights and resident-run get-togethers, and there's an activities coordinator who plans ways for people to enjoy their days. Staff coordinate with healthcare providers to help with medical needs, and new residents get help moving in and settling. The living spaces and common areas are clean, tastefully furnished, and welcoming, and the facility's team stays focused on compassionate care and making sure residents feel like they belong. Magnolia Place is licensed in Tennessee and tries to give folks as much independence as possible while supporting them in a safe, comfortable space.
