    Compassionate attentive home-like hospice care

I'm very pleased with the attentive, compassionate care my loved one received. The home-like facility is clean, quiet, and well run, meals are prepared, and staff keep families informed with detailed reports. Kendra stands out-kind, hands-on, and always going above and beyond-while nurses and caregivers collaborate well with hospice. Overall a warm, professional place where residents are treated like family; I'd recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

Reviews of this Four Seasons Senior Living location present a mixed but clear set of patterns. Many families and visitors emphasize a small, home-like atmosphere with strong one-to-one attention; others raised operational concerns that prospective residents should evaluate before committing. Overall impressions coalesce around strong individualized caregiving and a well-kept physical environment, contrasted with intermittent issues in administrative practices and care consistency.

Care and staff: The facility is frequently described as having compassionate, hands-on staff who deliver personalized, companion-style care. Reviewers repeatedly praise a particular staff member for proactive, detailed reporting, close observation of condition changes, and willingness to go beyond routine duties; this level of involvement contributes to families feeling informed and supported. Clinical collaboration with hospice services is noted as effective in cases where end-of-life care was required. Counterbalancing these strengths are accounts of variable caregiver competence and uneven care quality across shifts; several accounts indicate inexperienced staff at times and gaps in clinical oversight or responsiveness that affect perceived reliability.

Dining and activities: Dining is generally characterized as prepared meals with variety and attention to dietary needs, and several families indicated the kitchen staff meets residents’ preferences. Activity offerings are present, but programming intensity and variety appear limited for some residents. Prospective residents should ask for a current activity calendar and examples of how the facility individualizes engagement to resident abilities and interests.

Facilities and neighborhood: The physical plant is described as clean, updated, odor-free, and comfortable, with spacious rooms, large windows, and a quiet, home-like feel. Housekeeping and sanitation are presented positively. Perceptions of the surrounding neighborhood vary; some reviewers view the area as safe and pleasant while others expressed reservations about location safety. Visitors should evaluate the site in person, including neighborhood walkability and parking or access considerations.

Management and administrative practices: Management and office staff receive praise for being welcoming and making families feel at home; hands-on managers are credited with active daily involvement. However, a number of serious administrative concerns appear in reviews: unclear contract terms, aggressive deposit or admission-pressure practices, disputes over billing and refunds, and slow or nonresponsive follow-up in sensitive situations. These patterns suggest the need for careful contract review, explicit written answers on deposit and refund policies, and clarification of billing practices before admission.

Notable patterns and recommendations: The strongest, consistent positives are individualized, compassionate care in a clean, small-group setting with staff who communicate well when those same caregivers are present. The most significant risks are operational: variability in caregiver experience, potential pressure around deposits, and gaps in administrative transparency and responsiveness. Prospective residents and families should tour the home, meet regular caregivers, request written staffing and billing policies, ask about staff turnover and clinical oversight, and obtain a current activity schedule and sample menu. Doing so will help determine whether this location’s strengths align with the prospective resident’s needs and priorities.
