    Moved my mom, very pleased

I toured Inspired Living and moved my mom here - the building is beautiful, bright, and impeccably clean. The staff are genuinely kind, attentive, and communicative, activities are engaging, and residents seem happy and social; dining and therapy services have been excellent. I'm very pleased with the care and would recommend this community.

    Summary of reviews

The set of reviews presents a mixed but thematically consistent portrait of The Pearl Senior Living at Lewisville. Strengths center on direct care and daily life: many families and residents praise compassionate caregiving, skilled nursing involvement, and a family-oriented culture. Reviewers frequently highlight attentive nurses and care directors, coordinated therapy services, and staff who provide personalized attention. The community's physical environment is often described as bright, hotel-like, and well appointed, with appealing common areas and amenities that support socialization.

Dining and activities are clear strengths for many residents. Several reviews describe chef-driven, restaurant-style meals prepared with fresh ingredients, multiple dining options, and delivery when needed. Activity programming and outings are commonly noted as engaging and plentiful, contributing to social connection and improved mood for many residents. Physical-therapy, occupational-therapy, and speech-therapy coordination also receive positive mention for residents with rehabilitative needs.

Despite these positives, a number of operational concerns recur across reviews. Medication-administration practices and clinical responsiveness appear inconsistent: families describe delays in medication delivery, missed or incomplete medication at move-in, and delayed response to call-button requests. Staffing instability and turnover — including changes in leadership and nursing personnel — are cited as contributors to variability in care quality and continuity. Relatedly, some reviews indicate insufficient clinical staffing for residents with complex needs.

Facility and service-delivery gaps are another theme. Cleanliness and housekeeping controls are described as variable, and there are accounts indicating incomplete move-in readiness (cosmetic defects, maintenance touch-ups) and occasional sanitation concerns in rooms or common areas. Kitchen operations are also inconsistent in some reports, with instances of bland, overcooked, or unavailable menu items alongside otherwise praised meals. Service continuity issues (broken transportation, limitations in promised backup systems) and after-hours access or visitation rigidity during infection-control events have been raised as operational weaknesses.

Administrative and systems-level issues appear uneven. Several reviews highlight responsive, approachable leaders and credit management teams with turnarounds and open family communication; others report management instability, miscommunication, broken promises, and billing or property-handling disputes — including allegations of missing or damaged personal items and charges during absences. These divergent accounts suggest that experience at the community can vary substantially depending on timing, staffing, and which leadership team is in place.

In summary, The Pearl Senior Living at Lewisville demonstrates clear strengths in atmosphere, direct caregiving, dining, and activity programming, and reviewers often praise individual clinicians and directors for their responsiveness. At the same time, persistent operational themes — medication administration, staffing stability, housekeeping controls, kitchen consistency, and administrative follow-through — are areas prospective residents and families should evaluate thoroughly. Recommended pre-move questions include current staffing ratios and turnover, medication and incident-response protocols, sanitation and housekeeping standards, inventory/property policies, backup systems (power/transport), and the community’s recent leadership changes and improvement plans.
