    Clean safe homelike caring responsive

I'm very pleased with Trinity Timbers. The small, homey community is clean and safe with private rooms, homemade nutritious meals, and daily activities. The staff - especially Miss Regina, Miss Lisa Wallace and the care team - are loving, knowledgeable and proactive, greet residents by name and keep families informed. Management is responsive and I would recommend them.

    Summary of reviews

Trinity Timbers presents as a small, home-like assisted living community where interpersonal care and a family atmosphere are emphasized. Reviewers consistently describe staff as compassionate, attentive, and familiar with residents; many highlight long-tenured employees, 24/7 staffing, and staff who proactively notify families about health changes. The facility is noted for private rooms with en-suite bathrooms, laundry service, a clean interior, and safety-oriented practices such as mobility aids that residents use to reduce fall risk. Cost is frequently described as competitive compared with newer facilities in the area, and the location is convenient for families.

Dining and daily life receive favorable comments: meals are characterized as home-cooked, nutritious, and visually appealing, and there are several common areas including a community living room, dining area, patio, and game room. Activities are an active part of community life — an activities coordinator organizes games, outings (for example seasonal trips to view local lights), and multiple holiday and family events. Because of the smaller census, reviewers also point to more opportunities for one-on-one attention and a quieter environment that some families prefer.

There are operational patterns prospective families should weigh. The community uses agency or temporary staff at times, which can create variability in caregiver continuity. Care levels are combined within the same households rather than segregated into a separate memory-care neighborhood; while staff provide dementia-capable care, there is not a dedicated memory-care unit. Reviewers also describe variability in management conduct and responsiveness: some families praised an engaged, proactive executive director, while others described concerning interactions and communication tone. Relatedly, a few families reported issues around transitions (for example after hospital discharge), indicating potential gaps in care coordination during those handoffs.

Because Trinity Timbers is a smaller community, amenity breadth is more limited compared with larger campuses; that scale trade-off is part of its value proposition for families seeking a home-like setting. Activity participation can also vary by resident, so the experience depends in part on individual engagement and available staff support. Overall, the facility is frequently recommended for families who prioritize compassionate, personal care, cleanliness, and value, but families with needs for a dedicated memory-care unit or highly consistent clinical staffing during transitions should verify staffing patterns and care protocols before deciding.

    About Trinity Timbers Assisted Living

Trinity Timbers Assisted Living sits in Longview, Texas next to a water tower, and you'll find it's a small community with only 12 rooms, which helps give it a homelike feel, and here, the Life Care Team checks on residents each week and takes the time to get to know them and their families, so it really is a caregiving center dedicated to keeping seniors comfortable and cared for, whether someone needs help for a short stay after the hospital or for a longer period. Residents live with privacy in naturally lit apartments that come with kitchen appliances, and no matter if care needs are light or more advanced, the facility has licensed caregivers on hand around the clock to help with bathing, dressing, transferring to wheelchairs, and medication management, all while still respecting each person's independence. Trinity Timbers follows the "do unto others" Christian ethic, which just means they treat everyone with respect, kindness, and compassion, whether someone's there for social activities, daily help, or more medical needs, and the staff gives support but lets residents do what they can for themselves.

The place feels friendly and quiet, with walking paths and lots of greenery, so folks can sit outside or enjoy indoor spots like a common area, a game room, a library, and a fitness room, and people here can take part in meal times in an elegant dining room with home-cooked food, plus meals can fit special diets like diabetes or allergies. The staff also offers laundry and housekeeping, and residents have transportation to shopping, scheduled field trips, and help with errands, too. There are beautician services, devotional gatherings onsite and offsite, and both indoor and outdoor spaces for group activities, movie nights, and social events that give folks the chance to build friendships and stay active. The environment suits people who like quiet reading or those who want to keep busy with scheduled programs all week. This facility holds a State of Texas license (License #150098, LLC) for up to 13 residents, and they focus on each person's needs with personalized care plans and weekly check-ins, aiming to make sure everyone feels safe, respected, and part of a caring community.
