    Clean caring memory care facility

I placed my mom here and have been very pleased - the facility is clean, bright, and feels like home with a beautiful courtyard. Memory care is excellent and the staff go above and beyond; CNAs like Tameka and the admissions team (Cam/Carla/Miss Juanita) were caring and responsive, sending photos and arranging FaceTime. Therapy, activities, and meals are solid, families are kept informed, and I'm grateful for the compassionate, professional care.

    Summary of reviews

The reviews portray a facility with a mix of clear strengths and recurring operational weaknesses. Many families describe strong hands-on care: direct-care staff, particularly certain CNAs and caregivers, receive repeated praise for compassion, attentiveness, and personalized support. The facility also earns positive marks for its memory-care programming, skilled nursing and therapy services, engaging activities (music, trivia, holiday events), and a generally welcoming, home-like environment with well-kept common areas and some private-room options.

At the same time, a consistent pattern of variability appears across several domains. Staffing levels and turnover are frequent concerns: reviewers note periods when regular caregivers are replaced by agency staff who are less familiar with residents, and when weekend coverage is limited. Those staffing inconsistencies are linked to operational problems such as irregular bathing schedules, incontinence-care delays, medication-timing issues, and occasional gaps in safe transfer and fall-prevention practices. A few families described serious consequences in individual cases; these highlight the need to understand staffing ratios, handoff procedures, and safety protocols rather than indicating a single uniform experience.

Dining and activities receive mixed feedback. Some reviewers praised meals, communal dining energy, and the activity program (including individualized photo/video updates and virtual family contact). Others reported inconsistent meal quality and occasions when food was not well-received. Facility condition comments are likewise divided: many note clean, bright common areas, an attractive courtyard, and attentive housekeeping, while others observed sanitation and odor concerns in certain areas and isolated maintenance issues such as nonfunctional equipment or exterior trash management.

Communication and leadership are a notable recurrence in the feedback. Several families praised responsive admissions staff, prompt coordination, and managers or directors who addressed concerns. Conversely, other reviewers experienced difficulty obtaining records, long waits for information, and uneven responsiveness from leadership. Infection-control practices and PPE use were also called out as inconsistent in some accounts, which may reflect varying adherence or education among different shifts or temporary staff.

For prospective residents and families: the facility demonstrates clear strengths in compassionate caregiving, therapy/rehab capability, and engagement programming, but also exhibits operational variability that can affect day-to-day care continuity. When evaluating placement, ask specific questions about current staffing ratios (including weekends), agency-staff usage, bathing and incontinence-care routines, medication administration protocols, fall-prevention procedures, infection-control policies, and family communication pathways. A visit during different shifts (including weekends/evenings) and direct conversations with nursing leadership can help clarify whether the facility's strengths align with a particular resident’s needs.
