    Compassionate attentive secure memory care

I placed my dad here and have been very pleased. Stacy Goode, Twila and the whole team (Ted, Kara, Kasey, Stormy, Shawna) were compassionate, attentive and treated him like family - managers were responsive and sent regular photo updates while coordinating hospice seamlessly. The small, homey memory-care unit is clean, secure and well staffed, with individualized, dignity-preserving care, daily health monitoring, homemade meals, and engaging activities. Communication gave me real peace of mind; I recommend this community for families needing loving, attentive memory care.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Reviewers consistently describe a small, home-like memory-care setting with a strong emphasis on individualized, compassionate caregiving. Families highlight a warm atmosphere, frequent direct contact with staff, and a sense that residents are treated like family. The physical environment is noted as clean and well-maintained, with private rooms and a secure, locked unit appropriate for memory care.

Care and clinical oversight: Clinical oversight and daily health monitoring are described as strengths. Families reported consistent attention from caregivers, involvement of a nurse practitioner, and responsive coordination with hospice when needed. End-of-life care and collaboration with external providers were framed positively, and reviewers frequently credited specific caregivers and managers for timely communication and dignified care.

Dining and nutrition: The facility provides three homemade meals daily and many families liked the menus. However, there is a recurring operational gap around texture-modified diets: reviewers noted limited puréed or chopped meal options, which could be problematic for residents with chewing or swallowing difficulties. Prospective families should ask about dysphagia accommodations and menu flexibility during tours.

Activities and engagement: The small household model contributes to a homelike feel but also appears to limit the scale and variety of activities. Multiple accounts describe limited daytime stimulation, periods when many residents are passively seated, and relatively few off-site outings. This suggests the program may suit residents who prefer a quieter routine but may not meet the needs of those who require more active or varied engagement.

Staffing, management and communication: Many comments praise the attentiveness of caregivers and the accessibility of management; families note frequent updates via photos and videos and an openness to honoring individual requests. At the same time, the operation relies on a small staffing pool, and reviewers mentioned occasional turnover. That structure can support close, consistent care but may also create vulnerability if staffing changes occur. The facility’s single all-inclusive price was cited (listed at $5,200), and some families characterized the community as relatively expensive given the limited scope of activities.

Notable patterns and recommendations: Strengths center on personalized, dignified care, strong family communication, and a clean, secure environment. Trade-offs relate to scale: the small size supports a homelike atmosphere but correlates with narrower programming and fewer outings, as well as sensitivity to staff turnover. Prospective residents and families should tour the home, meet core caregivers and managers, review activity schedules, confirm texture-modified meal capabilities, and discuss staffing continuity and pricing to determine fit with the resident’s social and clinical needs.
