My mom has been very well cared for at Landmark - compassionate, attentive staff (Holly and team), clean comfortable rooms, 24-hour support, tasty varied meals, and lots of activities that keep her engaged. It feels safe and home-like with a family atmosphere and professional, kind caregivers. I'm very pleased and would recommend Landmark.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Landmark Assisted Living is presented across reviews as a well-run, recently renovated community with a strong emphasis on warm, relationship-driven care. Families and residents consistently describe staff as compassionate, patient, and willing to go beyond basic duties; several accounts single out specific caregivers and managers for praise. The facility’s culture is characterized as family-like and welcoming, and reviewers emphasize a sense of safety and resident happiness.

Care and clinical services: Review comments emphasize attentive frontline care and 24-hour assistance, including positive descriptions of certified nursing assistants and responsive nursing. End-of-life care receives specific commendation for compassion and dignity. The community also lists on-site clinical resources and routine specialist visits (for example, a recurring podiatry clinic), but public detail on staffing ratios and the breadth of clinical coverage is limited in the comments; prospective families should confirm clinical staffing levels and specialty-service availability during a tour.

Staff and management: Praise spans multiple departments — clinical, activities, kitchen, housekeeping, and administration. Named staff and leaders were repeatedly acknowledged for hands-on involvement and effective coordination, and reviewers report timely communication and reliable callbacks from management. This cross-departmental approval suggests consistent training and an emphasis on customer service.

Dining and amenities: Dining is frequently described as a strength: varied menus, well-prepared meals, and attentive dining staff are noted. A few comments reference flexible or extended food availability and positive impressions of kitchen personnel. Common-area amenities and resident accommodations are described as modern, sturdy, and attractive, supporting a resort-like, social atmosphere.

Activities and social life: The facility appears to offer a robust activities program with daily exercise classes, crafts, spa treatments, themed parades, shopping outings, and a resident-run store. A calendar-driven approach and dedicated activity staff support regular engagement, and reviewers indicate that social opportunities help residents build friendships and stay active.

Facility maintenance and environment: Cleanliness, weekly room services, dependable laundry, and general upkeep are repeatedly highlighted. Several reviewers describe the building as bright, new, and well-maintained, with spacious rooms that contribute to a comfortable living environment.

Notable patterns and practical considerations: The dominant theme in these summaries is consistently positive staff–resident interactions and a strong service orientation across departments. Where caution is warranted, reviewers expressed perceptions of pricing that some consider high and a lack of clear public detail about clinical staffing levels and the scope of specialized programs. Prospective residents and families would be well served to verify current pricing structure, ask for documented staffing ratios and clinical coverage, and confirm the availability of any specialized memory-care or rehabilitative services they may need. Overall, Landmark projects a high-touch, hospitality-oriented model with strengths in caregiving, activities, dining, and facility condition, balanced by the need for transparency on cost and clinical resources.

    About Landmark Assisted Living

Landmark Assisted Living sits in Vernal, Utah, offering several kinds of care all in one place, so folks can find assisted living, independent living, memory care, and full nursing care services under one roof, and it really goes the extra mile when it comes to safety with cameras for security and a 24/7 emergency call system, plus on-site caregivers and skilled nurses always around. Residents live in studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom apartments, each with private bathrooms, kitchenettes, cable TV, and WiFi, and there's always help available with daily needs like bathing, dressing, and medication reminders from a team that knows how to give both personal attention and professional care, which is useful for people needing different levels of support. The place has a warm, inviting feel, with big community spaces for eating and meeting friends, and the common areas have TVs, free high-speed internet, and even a theater, so there's always something to do, and the campus is pet-friendly too. The staff offers daily housekeeping and linen laundry services, so residents have less to worry about, and there's regular room service, so people can eat where they're most comfortable, but if folks want company, they can always join others in the dining room where guest meals are allowed. Residents can take part in a long list of activities, like book clubs, music groups, games, story time, gardening, group outings, and fitness programs, and family members are welcome to join in, which helps people keep close ties and friendships going, and there's even a coffee shop and plenty of parking for visitors. Transportation is free when residents need rides for errands or events, and a local senior living advisor helps families with the whole process of moving in and choosing the right kind of care. The facility offers specialized memory care for Alzheimer's, respite care for families needing a break, and hospice care when needed, and the nursing team and personal care aides are available at all hours, with a registered nurse always on duty as well. There are also in-house salon and barber services, scheduled field trips, art rooms, and hobby groups, plus the support of the Rocky Mountain Care organization and the Utah Health Care Association, so Landmark Assisted Living covers most needs for older adults in Vernal, and has built a good name for high standards of care and compassion, supported by a 5.0-star rating from verified SeniorAdvisor.com reviews, even though prices aren't shared online. The executive director Holly Morton leads the staff, and people can get detailed community information if requested, along with guidance to find other senior living places nearby if Landmark doesn't fit, and the building itself is designed to feel both safe and comfortable, with wide floor plans, accessible bathrooms, and a traditional character that's a bit different from most, fostering a calm place to live where health, wellness, and social connection really matter.
