      Clean quiet accessible home compassionate

I'm very pleased with this clean, quiet, homey place - large bedrooms and living space, wheelchair-accessible with wide halls and doorways, and a Jack-and-Jill bathroom shared with only one other resident. Owner Mellie Navarro is compassionate, medically knowledgeable with 20 years of dementia care, follows federal regulations and has a good relationship with our doctor. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere; I feel comfortable leaving my husband in Mellie's care.

      Summary of reviews

Overall sentiment in the reviews is strongly positive, with reviewers repeatedly emphasizing the high quality of personal care, the owner’s experience, and the home's physical condition. The dominant theme is trust in the caregiver: Mellie Navarro is highlighted by name and credentials repeatedly — described as compassionate and caring with about 20 years of dementia care experience. That background is tied to specific strengths noted by reviewers, including medical knowledge and an established working relationship with a physician, which together create confidence in clinical oversight and individualized health attention.

Care quality and staff: Reviews focus almost exclusively on the owner/caregiver and the direct care environment. Mellie’s dementia experience and medical knowledge are presented as central to the facility’s ability to manage residents with cognitive impairment. Reviewers explicitly say they feel comfortable leaving family members (for example, a husband) in her care, which indicates perceived reliability, attentiveness, and emotional support. Compliance with federal regulations is also mentioned, suggesting that reviewers noticed or were informed of formal regulatory adherence rather than only anecdotal impressions.

Facilities and safety: The physical home receives consistent praise. Multiple comments describe the residence as very clean, quiet, and welcoming. Accessibility features are clearly noted — wide halls and doorways suitable for wheelchairs — which signals attention to mobility and safety. The layout and room sizes are a positive: reviewers pointed out large bedrooms and a large living space, which contribute to a feeling of comfort and room to move. A Jack-and-Jill style bathroom shared with only one other resident is described factually; reviewers framed this as acceptable, and the small sharing arrangement may be seen as balancing convenience and privacy.

Atmosphere and homelike qualities: The environment is repeatedly called friendly, welcoming, and calm. Reviewers used terms such as "friendly place," "nice, clean, quiet home," and "caring owner," indicating a small, home-like setting rather than an institutional atmosphere. This tone, combined with the facility size and the limited bathroom-sharing arrangement, suggests a setting that some families prefer for personalized attention and reduced noise/traffic.

Notable omissions and potential concerns: The reviews provide strong positive signals but are narrow in scope. They do not address dining quality, menu variety, activity programming, social engagement schedules, staff-to-resident ratios beyond the owner, cost and contract details, handling of emergencies beyond the doctor relationship, or turnover among caregivers. Those gaps mean prospective families should ask directly about daily routines, meals, activities, medication administration processes, staffing levels, and backup coverage. While the Jack-and-Jill bathroom is noted as shared with only one other resident and presented positively, some prospective residents or families might view any shared bathroom as a privacy concern—this could be a preference-based drawback rather than a reported problem in these summaries.

Conclusion: In sum, the reviews portray In Home Love Residential Care LLC as a small, well-maintained, wheelchair-accessible, and family-oriented home with a highly experienced and trusted owner/caregiver specializing in dementia care. Cleanliness, safety features, and a welcoming atmosphere are repeatedly praised. The primary limitations of the available review content are omissions on dining, activities, staffing structure, and operational details; prospective families should request that information during visits. The overall pattern indicates a consistently positive residential care option for families prioritizing experienced dementia care, cleanliness, accessibility, and a homelike environment.

About In Home Love Residential Care LLC

In Home Love Residential Care LLC sits in a quiet Seattle neighborhood, modeled as an Adult Family Home, and you'll find the house has room for only a handful of residents-about six, sometimes up to ten-so people get personal care and staff get to know everyone pretty well, and you see Mellie Navarro, the owner and caregiver, runs the place herself with over twenty years of experience with dementia, spending time with folks and making sure their needs don't go ignored, whether it's help with getting dressed, medicine reminders, or just a friendly face for conversation. People find the setup feels homelike, with wide halls and doors for wheelchairs, private or semi-private rooms-each with a private bath if needed-and wheel-in showers, and you'll come across all kinds of helpful touches like group meals where dishes can be vegetarian, kosher, or made for diabetics, with gluten-free, vegan, or low-sugar options available for those who ask, and then you've got visiting hours running from 9:00am to 8:00pm, so families can stop by almost any day.

There's a secure area for folks with dementia, and staff have memory care programs all day, with activities that help with recall, along with things like devotional gatherings both on and offsite, plus social events like picnics, BBQs, or birthday and holiday parties, which make the place feel lively but still calm, and smokers can step out back since outdoor smoking's allowed. For folks who don't drive, there's resident parking, paid shuttle service, and even free rides at times, and living near public transit makes trips easier. The caregiver or staff help with pretty much any daily task from bathing to changing or laundry, and they keep everything clean and safe, following federal rules closely. High-acuity care's on the table for those with bigger needs, including diabetic and incontinence care, plus standard medication management and help for those with mobility issues. With services in English, Romanian, and Russian, the home feels welcoming to people from many backgrounds, and the small group means the staff can give residents almost family-like attention, and the atmosphere is friendly, calm, and makes many feel comfortable, even when health changes require more support.

Whether someone needs long-term assisted living, a break with a short respite stay, memory care, or more hands-on nursing from time to time, In Home Love Residential Care LLC quietly offers these options, with group activities, access to a beautician onsite, both indoor and outdoor shared spaces, and community features like safe locked doors in memory care, so residents who wander stay safe, and staff are nearby night and day. Meals, personal care, transportation, and daily housekeeping are all part of the deal, and even with the added medical and therapy services, the home never feels crowded or rushed, which some people, especially seniors who like peace and quiet, might appreciate.
