The Village of Mcclure

The Village of McClure sits in the District 12 East End section of The Villages, Florida, right by places known as McClure, Marsh Bend, DeLuna, Linden, and the Monarch Grove Flyovers, and you'll see it's a big community where there's always something going on, like new homes popping up and lots of construction workers fixing up roads, bridges, and neighborhoods, so there's almost always a project like the bridge at Brownwood or Water Lilly getting finished-those were expected in early 2021, but sometimes you'll hear folks talk about how those bridges don't quite connect to the paths on either end yet, which means folks using the golf cart bridge system might have to plan a bit, especially with the Chitty Chatty, Brownwood, and Water Lilly bridges all part of the main ways people move around. People pay a maintenance assessment for services, and the community's got its own offices, leadership, and committees, from the Amenity Authority to the Project Wide Advisory or the Multi-Modal Path Discussion Group for the folks who want to shape what the place is like. There's also The Enrichment Academy for programs, plus regular socials, events like Senior Games or Running of the Squares, Camp Villages for activities, and even things like Fit Club, fishing, or outdoor adventures. Seniors can enjoy parks, nature trails, and the community watch and safety services, and there's always help with utilities, water, sewer, trash pickups, irrigation, paying your bills, or letting someone know if there's a problem. People have options for RV storage, resident services such as ID cards, and even little things like bulletin boards and Adopt-A-Bench programs. The area keeps things organized into different residential and commercial districts, so every neighborhood has its own structure and details, and while the place is always changing with new projects, they still offer a wide range of ways for seniors to be involved, stay active, and handle the day-to-day practical stuff you need in a big and busy Florida community.
