    Beautifully designed community, excellent care

I toured with my mother and she loves it - a clean, cozy, beautifully designed community with friendly residents, courteous professional staff, and good care. Her spacious apartment was a perfect fit and the move was smooth; the property has lots of amenities (library, theater, game room, gym, lounge, public kitchen) and an active social calendar, so I would happily recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

Overall sentiment in the reviews for Alice Place Apartments is strongly positive. Multiple reviewers emphasize that the property is attractively designed and well kept, with clean, cozy common areas and beautiful surroundings. The community is repeatedly described as welcoming and comfortable, with family members (for example, mothers referenced in several summaries) feeling at home and picturing themselves living there. Several reviewers explicitly say they would recommend the community.

Facilities and amenities are a clear strength. Reviewers list a broad set of on-site features — a library, theater room, game room, exercise facility, and a variety of communal spaces including a lobby/lounge and a public kitchen/meeting room. These amenities support both recreational and social needs and contribute to the impression of a full-service, resident-centered environment. Cleanliness is consistently noted alongside these amenities, reinforcing the sense that the property is well maintained.

Staff, care, and management receive repeated praise. Reviewers use terms like helpful, professional, courteous, and well managed. There are multiple mentions of good care and a smooth transition experience, indicating the staff are effective at onboarding new residents and attending to day-to-day needs. This positive staff feedback pairs with comments about management being competent and responsive.

Community life and activities are another prominent theme. The reviews emphasize an active social environment with lots of activities and opportunities to interact. Residents are described as friendly and welcoming, and reviewers frequently note the social fit — families observing that their loved ones feel comfortable and connected. This social vibrancy appears to be a meaningful reason why prospective residents and relatives respond favorably.

Regarding the apartments themselves, reviewers describe units as livable, spacious, and having the necessary amenities for comfortable living. One review specifically called the apartment a "perfect-fit," suggesting good options for personal preference and needs.

The only notable concern mentioned across the summaries is that some amenities are missing — this is raised in one summary and not elaborated. Given the otherwise long list of amenities and positive commentary, this suggests a limited or specific gap rather than a pervasive shortcoming, but it is a point prospective residents should clarify. No other consistent negatives (such as issues with care quality, cleanliness, safety, or staff behavior) are present in these summaries.

In sum, Alice Place Apartments comes across as a well-managed, attractively appointed community with a wide variety of amenities, an active and friendly social scene, and staff who make transitions and daily life easier for residents. Prospective residents or family members should verify the exact amenity list during a tour to confirm any potentially missing features, but overall the reviews portray a high level of satisfaction and strong recommendations from visitors and relatives.

    About Alice Place Apartments

Alice Place Apartments is a low-income senior apartment community for people aged 55 and older, and they've put a lot of thought into making life comfortable, simple, and social for the folks who live there. The apartments are spacious, with both one and two-bedroom layouts, and come with good-sized closets, linen storage, air conditioning, and extras like hardwood or carpeted floors, ceiling fans, washers and dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and private balconies, so you've got what you need for everyday living without a lot of fuss, and you get your heat, water, sewer, and trash included in the rent, which helps with budgets. The rents are affordable because they use the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program, and they've got rules about age, income, and background checks that involve documents and a fee.

There are outdoor and indoor common areas where you can sit, visit, or spend time on your own, plus gardens and green spaces, a pergola for outdoor dining, and paths for walking or gardening or just enjoying the day. For folks who like to stay busy or meet new people, there are always activities, arts and crafts rooms, and organized programs, plus a clubhouse with dining space and a fitness center if you like to keep active. The place is well-kept and clean, and things like elevators and wheelchair accessible showers help everybody get around safely and stay as independent as they can.

If someone needs help, there are assisted living services for things like bathing and dressing, and there's memory care for people with dementia, so nobody's left out. The community also has trained aides offering home care and non-medical help for people who might want to stay in their apartments. Dining services provide nutritious meals made by chefs who pay attention to balanced ingredients, so you don't have to worry about cooking if you don't want to. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they've got a good system to make moving in and everyday life as smooth as possible. Alice Place Apartments has transportation and parking, is smoke-free, and takes pride in being fair and open to everyone, no matter their background. You can find views around the community, and the apartments have room for the things people like to keep with them. The office and maintenance are both right there on site if anything needs fixing or if questions come up. Alice Place Apartments focuses on comfort, safety, and giving you the freedom to enjoy your days without a lot of complications.
