    Impressed by location and incentive

I toured the complex and was impressed - very nice and the best location for me. My mom liked the apartments; one-bedrooms are $680 (electric not included) and there's a no-dogs policy. The three-month free incentive was a big plus for us.

    Summary of reviews

Overall sentiment from the provided review snippets is generally positive about the physical property and value, with several clear caveats around utilities, noise, and pet policy. Multiple reviewers emphasize that The Regency is an attractive complex with amenities and apartments that are well liked — one reviewer specifically notes that their mother liked the apartments and another calls it a "Very Nice Complex." The presence of an indoor pool is a distinct amenity highlighted in the summaries and contributes to the facility’s appeal. Location is also repeatedly noted as a strong point, with one reviewer calling it the "best location for him."

On pricing and incentives, the reviews cite a clear one-bedroom standard price point of $680 and mention a promotional incentive of three months free. Those are specific financial positives that suggest competitive upfront value. However, the summaries also point out that electric service is not included in that quoted rent, which is an important operational cost consideration for prospective residents to factor into their monthly budgeting.

Policy and community composition are mixed themes in the reviews. The facility’s no dogs policy is explicitly mentioned; that can be a selling point for residents who prefer a pet-free environment and likely contributes to perceptions of order or cleanliness, but it is also listed as a potential drawback for pet owners. Another notable community-related concern is noise attributed to students staying there from Ohio Technical College. That detail signals that the resident mix may include short-term or non-traditional residents (students), and that noise from this population has been a noticeable issue for at least one reviewer.

There is little to no information in these summaries about care quality, staff interactions, dining, activities, or management responsiveness. The reviews focus primarily on physical features, pricing, policy, and location rather than on service-level details. Prospective residents should therefore seek additional, targeted information or tours to evaluate staffing, care/service quality, social programming, dining options, and how management handles noise or tenant-mix concerns.

In conclusion, The Regency appears to offer appealing apartments, desirable amenities like an indoor pool, a favorable location, and a concrete promotional offer that may represent good short-term value. Key concerns to verify during a visit or follow-up include the impact of the no-dog policy on your lifestyle or household, the financial effect of utilities not being included (electricity), and any ongoing noise issues associated with student residents from nearby Ohio Technical College. Because service and care aspects are not addressed in the provided reviews, those are additional areas to investigate before making a decision.

    About The Regency

The Regency sits in Parma, OH and offers many living options like independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, home care, and senior apartments, so folks can pick what fits their needs as they get older, and you can find both male and female residents living here since the community's open to either gender. People can bring their small cats or dogs if they weigh under 20 pounds, which is good because not everyone likes to be without their pets, and there are outdoor and indoor common spaces where residents can walk, relax, or just sit and visit, as well as a swimming pool and hot tub that some people use for exercise or to help with aches and pains, plus a fitness center for those who enjoy staying active. The Regency offers several apartment choices, from studios to three-bedroom layouts, and all options have modern finishes, some with hardwood floors, dine-in kitchens, or even patio and balcony spaces, so residents have a little more breathing room or a spot to watch the birds, and their kitchens even include dishwashers, which helps with easy cleanup.

Bath tubs and wheelchair-accessible showers in rooms make things easier and safer for most everyone; the community has parking and garage options for those with vehicles, and handy transportation to appointments or errands if people need it. Residents get meals every day with options planned by nutrition experts and chefs, which helps folks eat well without having to cook much unless they want to. Many kinds of social programs, parties, outings, and entertainment events appear on the community calendar, letting folks pick what they'd like to join, and there's a party room for larger gatherings, plus beauty and barber services so people can keep up with haircuts or a bit of pampering. Devotional activities happen both on and off-site for those who want spiritual or religious connection, and there's a strict no-smoking policy indoors, though outdoor and private indoor area smoking is allowed for those who wish.

For healthcare, The Regency has trained medical staff on hand to help whenever needed, with two physicians and 23 pharmacies nearby, and they arrange extra care such as memory support to help those with Alzheimer's or dementia stay safe and calm; they also offer assisted living for folks needing regular help, skilled nursing if someone becomes more medically fragile, and even home care for those wanting to stay in their own place. Hospice and respite services are available for families who need short-term help or support during a hard time. Apartments and houses here include features that make life easier and safer, so most folks find living here comfortable, and the place is known in the area for offering a wide range of activities and winning awards for making people feel welcome and involved, though of course living here isn't for everyone, but for those wanting friendly surroundings and steady support, The Regency covers most bases with openly stated pet allowances, internet, garages, party rooms, and community transportation where needed.
